This is the raw uncut truth about Frannies Fight.

Annika and I are in separate states for the year while we take on this new challenge of getting Penny to a healthy weight.

We want to give you a new behind the scenes look on what it looks like to do that.

Without you we couldn't be doing this. You helped give these girls a warm bed to sleep on every night.

Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️

I started following @frannies.fight in 2024 at the start of Frannie’s journey. I loved keeping up with her progress and watching her feel like a dog again. Although it is incredibly sad to hear that she's passed, I can’t help but feel so so happy to have seen her live out her days as the happiest and healthiest version of herself. Her journey was so inspiring and I’m glad to have found her when I did.

This is a digital drawing I made a while back. Rest in Peace, Frannie girl. And thank you for the important reminder💛

Man what a long, challenging, insanely fun past 6 months. And what a weekend! Ironman 70.3 Oceanside was by far the most rigorous yet rewarding event I’ve ever done.

Shoutout to my amazing support system, friends who trained and/or competed with me (esp those who tolerated me planning travel itineraries around workouts), the people who gave advice to this triathlon rookie, San Diego drivers for not running me over on my bike, friends who let me rearrange plans for my “casual” 3-5 hour workouts, Soul Cycle for fueling my delusion (shoutout @georgiallawrence best instructor and @saltybrotha sidebar sista), pilates and yoga for my unexpected personality shift, @sdwheelworks my bike mechanic gurus, and the 263712 hyped up texts and voice memos before and after my race.

1.2 mi swim 🏊🏽‍♀️
56 mi bike (2,649 ft elevation gain)🚴🏽‍♀️
13.1 mi run 🏃🏽‍♀️
done and dusted!
