This fantastic Ford reminded me of an electric Escort this "Wild Boar" used to gun around his @officialscalextric track with the back end always out.

With chrome bumpers removed, the visitors car was strangely reminiscent of the toy.

Either way, thanks for the memories Craig and hopefully see you over yonder again soon.

A Lotus Emira was the chariot of choice for our special guest @russellcrowe over yonder this weekend.

Light and nimble, this agile and diminutive sports car is the perfect weapon for unleashing hell when going into battle and B-Road dominance.

Why not wander over yonder for PWF's "Cars & Coffee", you never know who you might meet.

Next gathering 19/09/26 - See you over yonder.

The cars, the community and the camaraderie between our "Wild Boars" is what sets us apart. It isn't about how fat your wallet is or how long your schlong is, as nobody cares.

Amigos with no ego's is where we are at. A friendly bunch of people with a passion for cars, who like to chew the fat (sometimes bacon) and swill it down with a brew.

A case in point recently, when we were visited over yonder by a stealthy looking Porsche 997, as it winged its way into the car park. The inside was equally as impressive with a full tartan themed interior by @davethetrimmer.

Mick the pilot @micks997c2s emerges from the cockpit and was immediately one of us, joining in with the banter and showing us around his wheels. We were honoured to understand that he had travelled 3.5 hours from Gloucester to come to our humble gathering.

Having got to know Mick only recently our hearts and thoughts go out to him and his family as we hear of the loss of his Father Tony Baird at the ripe age of 91.

Like Mick, there are a few of us who are quite fragile at the moment due to the recent loss of a loved one. We find a certain amount of solace by getting behind the wheel, or in front of a fellow petrolhead at our Cars & Coffee gatherings helping us to navigate the road ahead @theyondermann.

Or better still join our charity drive with @the.refuel on the 29th August and raise money for the healthy mind, body and soul of people with the car community.

What an incredible weekend at @gtr.festival GT-R Festival at @santapodraceway Santa Pod Raceway! 🇬🇧🇯🇵🏁

A weekend surrounded by some of the finest GT-Rs imaginable, great people, and more automotive passion than you could shake a stick at!

One of the highlights for me was spending time with Alex Qureitem, an absolutely amazing photographer and author of @gtr_the_journey GT-R The Journey – Volume 1. Even more excitingly, Volume 2 is due to be released in around 5–6 weeks — and my copy is already ordered! 📖🔥

But the real pinch-yourself moment was meeting Hiroshi Tamura @mid_night_new_wave — Mr GT-R himself. What an incredible guy. To have him agree to sign my R34 V-Spec II Nür R-Tune was an absolute honour and privilege.

I’ll be sharing the video, thanks to @skylinesusky, of the signing along with some photos from the weekend — a moment I certainly won’t forget! 🙏🇯🇵

It was also fantastic meeting so many fellow GT-R owners. There are far too many people to mention individually, but a special shout-out to Lewis @lewis_08 and his absolutely incredible Top Secret R35 GT-R. What an awesome machine! 🔥

And, for me, perhaps the car of the show was the stunning R32 S-Tune on the SR Autobodies stand. An absolutely superb restoration — a real credit to Steve Richardson and the whole team at SR Autobodies @sr_autobodies 👌

Finally, a huge thank you to the GT-R Festival organisers, and especially Andrew Hawkins @andrew_hawko who was in charge and did such a fantastic job putting everything together. It was a brilliant event from start to finish. 👏

So many incredible cars, so many great people and so many memories.

Already looking forward to the next one! ❤️

Shout out to Ryan @r33skyry and the team @rgs_motorsltd who service and mot my Skyline and Evo. 👍😎🚙🚗

@ni.ju.ichi (Vin HS30-00021) performed faultlessly today, visiting @classicwise_ and @artistic_detailing / #bilc / @because.i.love.cars at their open days.

Excellent tight car, everything working as it should, only covered 19000 miles in its 56 years !!!!!!

The Z is serviced and maintained by Ryan and the team at @rgs_motorsltd 🚙😎👍

Great turn out at the shows, super weather and the air conditioner on full blast in the 240Z (both windows open)

Off to Lincs Classic car show next weekend in the Evo 7 - we will be on the MPC / @weare_mpc stand.

Come and say hello 😎

A club member has an orange Focus ST for sale, had a look around it today and it looks like a fantastic example. Different to find a very good example 🚗😎

#nickmason discovered the @24heuresdumans under the worst possible conditions. With the rain-sodden track wreaking havoc among the prototypes, outright victory went to the Porsche 935 driven by Klaus Ludwig and brothers Don and Bill Whittington. After a steady race Mason, partnered with Brian Joscelyne, Richard Jenvey and Tony Birchenhough, crossed the finish lane in eighteenth place in the overall standings.

Their Lola T297 even finished runner-up in the under-two-litre prototype class, the predecessor to today’s LM P2. This performance was never to be bettered in any of the British drummer-cum-gentleman driver’s four subsequent appearances at Le Mans.

@pinkfloyd manager Steve O’Rourke shared Mason’s passion for motorsport, also making his Le Mans début in 1979 and finishing in twelfth place in a Ferrari BB 512.

Despite the rough weather, Mason’s first Le Mans provided a welcome break from the studio. From April to November he was holed up with fellow Pink Floyd members Roger Waters, David Gilmour and Rick Wright (as well as backing singers, musicians and additional orchestra), recording the monumental double album The Wall. The track Another Brick In The Wall (Part 2) went on to receive serious worldwide airplay throughout the winter.

A real privilege to get up close to this piece of Pink Floyd and Le Mans history recently. With its hand painted livery this Lola brings together two of our favourite things - cars and music.

First time visit to @shelsleywalsh with the guys from @weare_mpc for the @supercarfest Hill Climb event.

Excellent weather, ice cream and plenty of space for a picnic made the day complete 😋

Super selection of cars going up the hill and an even larger selection in the car park 🚙🚗🚙🚗🚙🚗

Lovely R33 Alfa parked next to my R34 - such a cool car! 🚗
