NPCC’s Pride 2026 🏳️‍🌈✨

It was a privilege to be a part of this year’s pride gallery with my new original painting, “Fruit-opia!!” 🍑🍉🍌🍏🍓🥝🍊

This piece depicts an alternative universe that is free from hatred, homophobia, racism, etc. The architecture is entirely influenced by queer culture and vast identities to showcase the potential of a colourful and safe reality. There is at least one representation of over 25 queer flags within this piece; can you find them all? 👀🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Each year, NPCC’s pride gallery gets bigger and bigger so it was even more of an honour this year to be accepted as one of EIGHTY queer artists!! 🥹🥰💅

Such a fun event as always, with delicious snacks, amazing drag performances, raffle prizes, arts and crafts, and amazing vibes overall 🤭✨🎨

A huge thank you to everyone for their continuous support of my artistic journey, to @caffeineeatery for the beautiful flowers, to @aroundmonica for the awesome sticker print, and to @npccarts for allowing me to be a part of this year’s exhibition! 🎨❤️💐

Hope to see everyone again next year and Happy Pride!!!! ✨🏳️‍🌈🥰

Still beaming (or maybe it’s the sugar) 🥹✨

I had the most wonderful birthday — serenaded by my kids in four languages, celebrated all day by friends, family, and my WAAC (@womensartofcan) community, and somehow managed to eat cake more than once 🎂

And let’s be honest… artists give the best gifts. Beautiful handmade treasures, thoughtful surprises, and one stunning print that went unpictured because I ran out of hands 🙃

Feeling deeply grateful, creatively held, and very, very loved. Thank you all for making this day so special ❤️

Well, the holiday smalls show opened last night at the Leslie Grove Gallery at Queen St., East and Jones Avenue. I’m just showing the wall of warm orange coloured paintings, but there were many many more to choose from including mixed media, photography, pastels and paint. Even one with Santa in a canoe. They are usually open Wednesday to Sunday 12-5. I believe Leslieville is also having an event this weekend so head on over.

I dropped off my linocut print “Drifting” to Gallery 1065 in Toronto yesterday - swipe to see my print and a preview of a couple other works that will be part of “2-4-1: A Diptych Show” November 20-30. Thanks to @mongupta for selecting my print to be exhibited in her beautiful gallery space!

Check out @gallery.1065 to hear me and several other artists speaking about their work.

And drop by the opening TONIGHT 6-9pm to meet some of the 30+ local artists represented in the show - enjoy art work of diverse mediums and some 241 pizza! I’m disappointed I can’t attend tonight but am looking forward to visiting tomorrow. 🍕

We had a great time last night at the pom-poms and tassels workshop at @gallery.1065! We made dangling garlands and added a bit of decoration to the ugly tree cage, too. 🧶

What’s up next?
Wed Nov 5: upcycled weaving workshop
Grab a ticket for these from the link in the bio.

After that?
A bit of a break!

DM me with requests for future workshops or activities at the gallery.
