@bakersfieldfirstassembly our church family gathered together for a Good Friday service. We felowshiped over dinner, worshiped and heard a heart moving word on the last moments of Jesus's life. The gift of life we have through the plan of salvation, is the unconditional love of God.

i am forever grateful for everything i have gained from being apart of cheer. i learned resilience, hard work, and most of all i learned true friendship. i love each and every one of the cheerleaders on this team and i am immensely grateful for getting to be apart of their lives in this way. cheer has brought me so many memories that i will get to cherish for the rest of my life and i am so lucky to have had this dream of a high school experience. thank you to everyone who supported me through my growth on this team.

As our Pastors put an end to their FCF chapter I just want to express my immense gratitude for your constant support, endless friendship and prayers you’ve given our family over the past 22 years.

I know God has called you to a new chapter and a new community that will be blessed beyond measure by your presence. We will miss seeing your beautiful smiles every Sunday morning (but don’t worry we know where to find you 😁)

I am so thankful for Pastor Steve and Mardi, you have been such a blessing to our family.

I remember as a little girl I would also ways tell Pastor that I wanted to take his job one day. Thank you for making the church a welcoming place that I wanted to grow up in.

Today was one of the most beautiful days in the history of the work of God at 10700 Brimhall Road over here in Northwest Bakersfield. The house was FULL on this September morning; and we had the largest contingent of believers GOING PUBLIC with their faith in Jesus Christ in the waters of baptism today — declaring to the world that it’s their desire to follow Jesus always! The best days of FCF are still ahead, and we are giving God all the glory!

We are very pleased to announce that Family Community Fellowship has entered into a strong new partnership for the future with Canyon Hills Assembly of God! Our new relationship signals the beginning of a bold new chapter in reaching Northwest Bakersfield with the love of Jesus. While Pastor Steve Yeary’s role will shift to Lead Transitional Pastor, The Yearys are overjoyed to welcome their dear friends, Pastors Kevin and Misty Caudle, as Campus Pastors of our great church. We are excited to embrace all the new possibilities ahead with these new, empowering relationships. #neighborhoodtothenations
