I had to snap the picture. Headed to the guest/grandkid shower to keep Mardi sleeping while I got ready for an early morning breakfast appointment. On October 11th forty-two yrs ago, I was awakened very early in the morning with, “It’s time!” At about 3:30pm that afternoon, the best birthday present I could have asked for was born! Lauren Ashley was placed in my arms and my life forever changed. Lovely, gifted, smart, hilarious, and someone we just love being around … Lauren continues to bring me joy. Her calling to be an Elementary Educator is lived out with excellence and passion, evidenced in past students who can’t wait to see “Mrs. Tisinger” again! She “stole my birthday” so I could stay forever young! Best “theft” ever. What my wonderful “thief” left behind was more joy than I could have imagined—as well as giving us the wonderful blessing of our youngest grandson. That sweet girlie-girl in the stunt is my ADORABLE, PRECIOUS, WONDERFUL granddaughter, Charlee!! She was a “Tiny Titan” Cheerleader last night at Frontier High School with her Auntie Allie holding her up in the stunt (bottom right base)!! Charlee sparkles, shines, and loves her Poppy and GoGo. She was supported by Momma, brother, Grandpa Tony, Pops and GoGo, and … Dad made it home from Spain just minutes before halftime to see her perform and surprised us all!! Today I was a “Bonus” Grandparent at Stockdale Christian School’s Grandparent Day! Mrs. Holloway, Science Teacher and long-time friend, asked if I would be her “Grandparent” and join her. What a treat! When three of our Grandsons were little, Adelyne’s mom, “Miss Kimmie,” watched them when their mom’s went back to work up until Kindergarten. Adelyne and her sisters were there for the ride and, well … they just feel like family! #SCS2026 by @steveyallday

It’s my son’s birthday today, and I can’t believe my youngest is 37yrs young! I am blessed to call him mine. He is a great son, husband, father to our twinnies, brother, and friend. That cute blonde on the right has a birthday today! Youngest daughter hit a milestone number today, and this dad feels a tad older because of it! She has bounced, skipped, and hollered her way through life, “arriving” in every room in ways that could not be dismissed. Daughter, sister, Momma, and friend … our Tiffany has brought us joy, anxiety (at times), boundless love, and our first two treasured Grands, Bennett and Sawyer.
