🐦 Jeudredi at Café HoG 08/10: The leaves are not yet falling around the block, so let’s enjoy observing busy Anspach like a real Brusselaar from our terrace while we can (put on your nicest thrift jacket and keffiyeh to keep warm) 🍉

To keep your ears and hearts cosy, we have the following kind souls on our sonic menu, as usual from our window:

💨 @anouckguillou
♓️ @suninpiscesssss
🌀 @stevy_lab

⏰ Thursday 08.10.2026, 18:00 – 24:00
📍 House of Growfunding, Bv. Anspachlaan 178

🧣 With the sinking temperatures, we will slowly move things inside (the hardcore Brusselaars can still gather on the terrace ofc). Apart from music, which will stay a main element of our jeudredis, we are ready to accommodate cute, fun and quirky ideas for the misty month of November to gather inside our café:

🃏 Do you know a card came that beats them all?
🪡 Do you want to share your way of upcycling with others?
🏟️ Do you have a hobby that will be the next Beyblade craze?
🌻 Café HoG is what you make of it.

🐝 Creative heads, helping hearts and hands are more than welcome to join the ploeg. Leave a note at the bar or write us 💌 hog@growfunding.be

🫶 House of Growfunding is an open space for everybody. We ask all visitors to help create a respectful, inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels safe and welcome. Disrespectful, discriminatory, or hateful behaviour is not tolerated.

Doors open at noon, we’re providing food for everyone and we’ll conclude the night at 9pm.

[BMR-009] Stevy Lab - “Beyond The Kairos Veil” out now at the link in our bio. 🔗
——————————————————
Our ninth release marks the debut of Brussels’ Stevy Lab on Body Method, a four-track EP built on 90s dance music instincts and modern construction.

“Spectral Drift” weaves drum breaks through cybernetic, atmospheric techno, while “Crawling Mist” digs into heavier, industrial territory. “Glimmer of Fury” floats in the opposite direction with trance-leaning warmth, and “Frenetic Metrics” pulls the whole EP’s atmosphere together into something more direct.

Three remixes round out the release; Cades sends “Crawling Mist” through dub and ragga before detonating into jungle and breakcore. Matilda reworks “Frenetic Metrics” into a slow-burning, atmospheric groove. Roiju abstracts the same track further, pulling loosely from footwork and dembow into darker territory.

The title of the project draws from kairos, the idea of the “right moment,” and the record moves through what’s on the other side of that pressure: the freedom of stepping outside the weight of every choice feeling permanent. It’s a record about crossing thresholds without fear of what’s on the other side.

I suck at video editing…anyway.
I’m very emotional but also stupid as fuck, so instead of writing a paper with all the things i’m grateful for and that i’ll miss, i’ll write the words that i’m taking with me back to Italy after these 15 days that I’ve spent with the craziest, most fucked up, funniest and sweetest French people (not only French but whatever) I’ve ever met hihi. Fuck yeah! let’s start: ah oui! (pronounce is ue not ui the fuck?) Arrête ça! Bisous. Oh putain! Ah, j’adore! Bâton! Ah (apparently said at the end of 50% of the sentences), and that sound you make with your mouth that I don’t know how to write…something like prr?
•
Love you all…everyone i’ve met, can’t wait to see you again, hopefully soon enough
•
🤘🏽🔊 SPEAKEEEERRRRR 🔊🤘🏽
