Balliol Street ❤️ Nearly five years of new (and old) friendships, a new career, spontaneous wine and sushi nights with neighbours, and street dogs as roommates. The first place that ever felt like my own adult home. I learned about fostering on an elevator ride from the lobby to the 15th floor. I made friends in the yard out back. I learned what it meant to be a good neighbour (and to have good neighbours). I held a lot of jobs while living in this apartment, filmed a lot of auditions, wrote a short film, and had my first ACTRA card mailed to this address. My heart was broken, mended and fell in real love here ❤️ And of course, no apartment would be home without my favourite lil sidekick. Her first forever Canadian home treated us well and we are excited to join @lerouxski on all the adventures ahead in a brand new place to call home ❤️

Ducky’s had a very eventful Saturday morning! Here’s a little recap 🫡: - 8:30am: morning walk to get her to poop bc we needed to bring a sample to her vet appt later 💩☀️ - 9am: had to give her trazodone ahead of her vet appointment at 11am (swipe to see her get SO excited thinking it’s a treat 😂) - 9:30am: our friend @stickinwithnessa arrived and will be staying with us for the weekend 🤩 yay! - 10:45am: started walking to the vet 🏃‍♀️could tell the trazodone was working because she was very chill and maybe a lil high 👀 - 11am: arrived at the vet for their heartworm clinic! Ducky was going in to get her bloodwork 🩸💉 just to make sure she’s all set to start her preventative in June. I also asked if they could trim her nails since she was there & already kinda chill from the trazodone. When the vet tech came to bring ducky in, she fully froze and it took some convincing to get her to go in but some effort later we eventually got her through the door 😅. While she was in there, they had a nice little waiting area outside for me! 11:10am: Ducky was very excited to see me and was thrilled to be leaving BUT I’m so proud of her because she got her bloodwork done, they weighed her and she got her nails trimmed all in a days work 💅 They said she was nervous but did great and said the trazodone is definitely a good idea to give her for future appointments too. Anyway, she’s definitely ready for a well deserved nap and sweet potato treat 😴❤️🐾 #dogsofinstagram #rescuedog #nervousdog #vetvisit #saturdaymorning

Toronto winter weather is wild! 🥶 One day it’s a winter wonderland, the next it’s pure survival mode 😅 What I love about that? Watching how everyone reacts differently, humans and dogs. Some dogs lose their minds when the snow starts falling. Others take one step outside, freeze… and immediately do a moonwalk to go back inside! I'm curious to know which team is your dog?
