I took a huge leap buying my first big camera set up. One of the most terrifying decisions I’ve made having all that money in my hands under the water. Was it worth it ? Hands down best thing I did , the quality of the selfies is next level haha joking aside I love being in the sea creating films and the action cameras are amazing but I have really felt a new love for the hat I do with the new camera. I can’t wait to take you along on my learning and filming journey.

I’m just coming off the end of one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced or signed up for. Reflecting on it, it really was the most mentally and physically demanding expeditions I have ever done. I really wanted to test myself and learn more about myself, and that’s exactly what I did. And this trip was about way more than just me. It was about wanting to more good into the world. We worked as a team undertaking ocean clean ups, and raising awareness for the state of our oceans and the need for increased sustainability.

Now this has come to a close, I’m very much looking forward to getting stuck in to continuing the SoulsUntapped adventures, bringing you new films and content for you to follow along with. And don’t worry lots of work will be going on in the background to bring the Nordic Endeavour to your screens.

Thanks again for sticking around during this brief haitus from the usual chaos, and I can’t thank everyone enough for the continued support!

Well we have finally done it 2000 km later two tons of trash collected and some very sore hands and bums but what a trip it was.

A big thanks to all the support throughout this whole journey we couldn’t have done it without everybody contributing.

We still plan to continue raising money a bit longer for our charities and our causes feel free to help us out as much as you can.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes folks. After some long stints rowing we managed to have a kip and get the wetsuits on and celebrate best way I know.

When he isn’t rowing, Josh lives and works on Shetland as a commercial diver and freediver. Shetland and Norway share deep historical and cultural connections, and a mutual love of the ocean and its environment.

While a once in a lifetime challenge, the team are rowing for two causes:

🚁 @airambulances - to raise funds for the Air Ambulances UK charity, which helps fund critical life saving missions and provide pre hospital care (of which Shetland relies on due to its remoteness)

🐟 @plastfritthav - the team are collecting rubbish from the ocean and beaches on their journey, as well as encouraging others to join them. Raising awareness of marine conservation and protecting our oceans is a key objective of this challenge.

Expeditions don’t always go to plan. We definitely had a tough time round the north north of Norway in the Barents sea. A broken rudder thanks to a not so careful fishing boat left us in a pretty sticky situation. But thanks to the local communities we got all fixed up and we’re back out to see a couple days later.

Adapting and overcoming as part of the game on an adventure like this even if goals have to change. The main thing is to keep pushing on and enjoy as much as you can on the way.
