We have just finished an indie feature, Black Days. A dark comedic B&W neo noir that we’ve been working on for 26 years!! (It’s a long story) It played at Slamdance in an earlier form. Sarah Silverman is in it. It’s cool & funny, a bit violent & a lot profane. And was shot on film!

We just dropped the full movie on YouTube and want everyone to see it. It has been a true labor of love and it would mean the world to us if you would check it out. This is a grass roots campaign so please share this post around and like & comment on the film!

That nod you see?

It wasn’t because I got praise.
It was because I finally got feedback I didn’t run from.

🧠 I used to spiral the second someone “called me out.”
Cue the ADHD shame tax. Cue the self-talk:

“You should’ve known better.”
“Everyone else gets it right.”
“See? You’re not a leader.”

But here’s what flipped the script:

🛟 I stopped bracing for feedback like a punch.
And I started receiving it like a lifeline.

A few months ago, I made a call.
I hired coaching. I asked to be seen, I invested in me.
And Stirling, a mentor who didn’t flinch when I flailed, helped me rebuild to really show up.

➡️ The result?
🎙 A podcast interview on leadership with ADHD
📖 A book in progress
💥 A business that doesn’t require masking or burning out

And I’m doing it without paying the ADHD tax in time, money, or shame.

Because here’s the truth:

😭 LJD. Love. Joy. Divine.
So, on my way to take my kiddo trick or treating, I saw this man in my street, walking with what looked like his caregiver (Chris was his caregiver, turns out.)

I called out to them, “Do you want some candy?” (Our neighborhood is not “the place to be” on Halloween so there weren’t any trick or treaters and I had a lot of candy. 🤷‍♀️

I went to give him candy and THIS exchange happened. His name is Howard, by the way. He’s my friend now. ❤️❤️❤️

Love, huh? It’s quite a thing.

Then, we went trick or treating with Charlie and Charlie’s daddy and I am so damn proud of how we co-parent and model for Charlie that there IS enough love.

I consider myself so fortunate. I have the most amazing people in my life. Even when I feel down and alone, I am so grateful for the wise, talented and beautiful people who are all a part of my life. Obviously not all are pictured but I'm so grateful for local friends who cam pop by and spend an evening having deep conversations about things that matter. XO to all my friends both near and far. Thank you for being a friend...😘🥰
