After 7 beautiful years, we have some difficult news to share. ❤️

St James Street has been a huge part of No Logo Hair’s story and of Peppe’s dream. Closing our doors there is one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make, especially knowing that we are leaving behind a busy salon, a wonderful community and so many incredible memories.

But this is not the end of No Logo Hair. ❤️

Our Leytonstone salon will remain open, and we truly hope to welcome every one of you there and continue this journey together.

Thank you for 7 unforgettable years of love, trust and support. We couldn’t have done it without you.

With all our love,
Peppe & the No Logo Hair team 🤍

The Lee Valley is a habitat for many birds. Some of the birds live here for only part of the year and spend the rest of their time in other countries. Birds migrate for food, climate, to mate and to find safe places to build nests and raise their young. Migrating birds navigate using the Sun and the stars, Earth’s magnetic field, physical landmarks, and their own mental maps. They don’t have signs that tell them where to go like humans do. As a way for us to imagine the navigational challenges that the birds face we have made a series of signs for them. The signs can be found around Coppermill Lane on the approach to the Walthamstow Wetlands.

Signs for Birds has been developed by us over the last couple of years with local residents and school kids at Coppermill Primary School @friendsofcoppermillprimary in collaboration with @what_if_projects funded by @stjamesbiglocal and @lbwalthamforest fabricated by @omnicolour and these beautiful photos are by @thomasadank

We’ve just finished a new mural on Walthamstow Market, and it’s a whopper!

This project was commissioned by @stjamesbiglocal to recognise the contribution of migrant workers to the local area using the original livery colours and typography of the Great Eastern Railway.

The piece was produced by Leila at @showponies.studio painted by Auberi and Jason @watchingpaintdry247 and written and designed by me, @angrydan - Thanks to the magnificent @pulseandpickle for granting the permission to paint their wall.

I'd like to thank the entire team at St. James Street Big Local for their incredible hard work in getting this project over the line. There really was an extraordinary amount that went on behind the scenes with this one, so thank you for persevering and making it all possible.

The team at Big Local have dedicated the mural to Jacqueline Sheehy, a much loved and valued member of the local community who passed away last year.
