Day trip from London 🚍 ⤵️

📌 Stonehenge & Bath
👩‍💻 Booked with @klook_usa

I was averaging on 25,000 steps a day on my trip to London, so I very much appreciated having this full day out organised for me.

We had lots of time at both Stonehenge and Bath, which I loved, and the bus drove us back to London via the Cotswolds so we could enjoy the scenic views while we relaxed on-board.

Would absolutely recommend this day trip to escape the bustle of London and experience two very special places.

Some experiences stay with you long after the sun comes up. ☀️🪨✨

Summer Solstice at Stonehenge was genuinely one of the best moments of my life.

I was there with my nine-month-old baby and my mum, sharing an experience I’ll never forget. 🤍

Spending the night surrounded by people from all walks of life, witnessing spiritual ceremonies, with Incas, pagans and druids gathering to celebrate, while the beat of drums carried through the night… there was something incredibly powerful about it all. 🥁🌙

And then the sun began to rise, blazing through the clouds above one of the most ancient places on Earth. Standing there, so close to the stones, being able to reach out and touch them, was a moment I’ll never forget. Thousands of years of history beneath my fingertips.

Stonehenge opens access close to the stones for the Summer and Winter Solstices, offering a rare opportunity to experience this extraordinary monument up close.

It wasn’t just watching the sunrise. It was the atmosphere, the energy, the history and the feeling of being part of something that has brought people together for thousands of years.

One of those moments you wish you could bottle up and experience all over again. ✨

People travel from all over the WORLD to see this… and it’s right here in Wiltshire! 😍

Over 4,500 years of history, millions of visitors and a mystery that still has people talking!

Stonehenge is one of the most famous landmarks on the planet, but when you live nearby, it’s easy to forget just how incredible it really is!

💬 Be honest… if you live in Wiltshire, have you actually visited Stonehenge, or do you just drive past it? 😂

Stonehenge 🪨🇬🇧

Joa… sind halt Steine. 😂

Denn während unserer Disney Cruise hätte uns der Ausflug zu exakt denselben Steinen mal eben rund $180 pro Person gekostet. 💸😂

Also: Stonehenge gesehen ✅
Beeindruckt? Geht so.
Froh, keine $180 dafür bezahlt zu haben? Definitiv. 😂

Stonehenge, one of the older megalithic monuments on my bucket list, dating back to around 3000 BC. Many mysteries still remain about this site. Definitely another place that was surreal to be at in person.
