Spotlight: @strappingstore

Recently I visited @strappingstore and I just love the laid back vibe I got. They have all sort of fun locally made and supported stickers, ceramics, socks, toys and more. I purchased the cutest coffee mug and a few other things there. I will definitely be back and think you should check it out!

A sweet evening of Halloween cupcake decorating. 🖤🎃

We had SO much fun at our Halloween cupcake class at Strapping Store! Everyone got to get creative, play with buttercream, and turn their cupcakes into some seriously cute (and spooky!) treats. 👻

We love getting to host classes at some of our favorite local shops, and Strapping is always such a fun one! They have some of the cutest Halloween goodies right now and you’re guaranteed to always find something good to bring home.

Thanks to everyone who came out and decorated with us!

SHOUT OUT TO THE STRAPPING STORE IN OAK PARK. @strappingstore

So I am trying to do a little side hustle up in Sacramento selling pumpkin succulent planters. I cold contacted 8 independently owned stores within 5 miles of 95818 asking all of them if they would be willing to collaborate by displaying my made-at-home product in their store.

The proprietors of The Strapping Store got back to me within 24 hours and they were like, "We LOVE supporting women owned businesses. We LOVE supporting women of color trying to hustle. Come through."

When I arrived today they were indeed walking the talk. They had women vendors and LGBTQ vendors set up in front of their store hawking delightful wares. They gave my product prominent display space and before I left one of their customers showed a keen interest in ordering.

I was so happy to be supported by them I asked to take a photo with one if the owners and she agreed.

Please go by there this weekend. The holidays are coming up and the vendor booths in front have really cool gift items.
