Have you walked the Big Art Loop-Portside?? An open air gallery for the public that you can visit by foot or on bike. Art for all!!!

I was so stoked at the opportunity to work with the @sf_port and @street_plans to create a custom illustrated map highlighting all the wonders of the Portside and the incredible @bigartloop initiative by @building180 . They are filling the city with art!!!

They also started a new events series, Waterfront Walkabout, that brings the Big Art Loop sculptures to life in @sf_downtown with art activations, live music, pop-ups, food, drinks and more! The next one is Oct.15, 5-8PM

Working with teams that are dedicated to making amazing free events for the people of San Francisco is truly such a joy. 🥹

As we close out another amazing season at North Coast Yard, I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU.
On behalf of myself, the Rollin’ Buckeyez Foundation RinkInTheBox and DJ Ivory, thank you to North Coast Yard, the City of Cleveland, Street Plans, all of our partners, staff, volunteers, and most importantly, the entire community that came out and supported The Yard this summer.
Friday nights were special to us, but this was so much bigger than Friday nightroller skating. Monday through Sunday, The Yard became a place where Cleveland could come together. Families, children, young adults, seniors, friends and people from all different backgrounds came down to enjoy themselves and experience something positive in our city.
That’s what meant the most to me.
We watched children put on skates for the first time. We saw parents skating with their kids, adults getting back on skates after many years, families laughing together, and complete strangers encouraging each other.
That’s community.
When we started Rollin’ Buckeyez, our vision was simple: turn empty spaces into social places. North Coast Yard gave us the opportunity to actually live that mission right here in the heart of Cleveland.
Thank you to everyone who trusted us with their children, put on a pair of skates, danced to the music, decorated a helmet, took pictures, shared our posts, told somebody about us, or simply came down and spent time at The Yard.
You helped make this special.
And to everyone behind the scenes who helped make this entire season happen—thank you. It takes a lot of people working together to create something like this.
At the end of the day, it wasn’t just about roller skating.
It was about bringing people together.
We are grateful to have been a small part of something that brought so much energy, movement, laughter and community to Cleveland.
The skates may be getting packed up for the season, but the memories aren’t going anywhere.
Thank you, Cleveland. Thank you, North Coast Yard.
We’ll see you next year at THE YARD! ❤️🛼

🧜‍♀️ Tomorrow night, Coralee comes alive.
Meet us at Pier 1½ on the Embarcadero — Thu, Sept 17, 5–8pm — for a night of live storytelling activating Dana Albany’s 18-foot mermaid sculpture, part of Waterfront Walkabout / Big Art Loop: Portside. En2Action is producing the evening, with SFBATCO performers bringing the mermaid’s story to life live on the pier throughout the evening.
Coralee is built entirely from reclaimed metal and glass — spoons, bike chains, broken chandeliers, old playground steel — with scales cast by 180 schoolchildren in Derbyshire, England, where she was born before crossing the Atlantic to a permanent home right here on SF’s waterfront.
Dana Albany joins us in person to light Coralee herself and welcome visitors throughout the night. Stop by our “Dream Your Own Mermaid” craft table and grab a mermaid-themed drink from Joyride Pizza (first 100 guests get $1 off).
