Pregnancy stress doesn’t only show up in your mind it can show up in your body too. 🤰🏾

As your belly and breasts grow, your posture and center of gravity begin to shift. Add the mental load of preparing for birth, hormonal changes, interrupted sleep, and everyday stress, and you may notice more tension through your shoulders, neck, and upper back.

That’s why prenatal movement isn’t just about opening the hips. ✨

Shoulder mobility, intentional breathing, and gentle stretching can help release tension and teach the body something we’ll need during labor too: how to soften instead of brace.

Mama, your shoulders deserve care too. 🤍

Starting is the hardest part. Take your time with your body and trust YOUR PROCESS!

Watching my students get stronger over time is truly one of my favorite parts of teaching. 🧡

My student’s intention for this session was letting go of control. 🤍

So we created a practice around softening, surrendering, and noticing where her body was still bracing.

We focused heavily on the shoulders because stress, overthinking, and always feeling like you have to stay prepared can show up as tension through the neck, shoulders, and upper body.

The reminder for this session:
You don’t have to hold everything together all the time.

Sometimes letting go starts with one breath, one shoulder drop, and giving yourself permission to just be. 🧘🏽‍♀️✨

🌕The Full Moon Collective 🌕

Join us on Wednesday, July 29 at 6:30 PM at Breakwater Park for an evening of movement, sound healing, and guided meditation beneath the full moon.

This monthly gathering is an invitation to slow down and reconnect with yourself. Through intentional movement, meditation, and the vibrations of sound, you’ll have space to notice what your body has been holding, reconnect with your breath, and simply be present with whatever arises.

These practices can stir emotions, memories, sensations, or a deep sense of calm. There is nothing you need to force or fix, only an opportunity to listen inward with curiosity and compassion. Every experience is welcome.

Bring a yoga mat or blanket, water, and anything that helps you feel supported.
