October’s Grief Is An Island retreat was a gentle reminder that we don’t need to have the answers, or find the right words. Sometimes, simply being alongside one another is enough.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in Ibiza last Sunday for an evening of meditation, gentle breathwork and sound. We set out to create a quiet space to sit with our grief, without needing to make sense of it.

Together, we explored ways of gently supporting the nervous system while making space for whatever was present.

Thank you for your trust, your openness and for sharing the space with us.

Grief can feel isolating, overwhelming, and impossible to put into words, which is why hearing that someone felt seen, supported, or understood through Grief is an Island reminds us why this space matters.

Meet Leah, one of our gifted retreat facilitators, who’s work is rooted in the deeply restorative power of somatics and sound. Her journeys designed to bring the body and mind back into balance. Using crystal bowls, gongs, and chimes, she creates immersive soundscapes that calm the nervous system, release tension, and invite profound relaxation.

Each session is a unique experience, supporting clarity, emotional release, and a deeper connection within. Leah’s work offers not only rest, but a gentle space for transformation, and is beautifully combined with breathwork and hypnotherapy, for a fully integrated experience.

Leah will be guiding us through one of her transformational group workshops and guests will also have the option to book a 1 to 1 therapeutic bodywork session.

A week ago today we said goodbye to our first guests, bringing our inaugural Grief Is An Island retreat to a close. It has taken us some time to process all that unfolded over those five days, and we know we will continue to reflect on the experience for a long time to come.

While our intention has always been to support and nurture others, it is fair to say the experience was equally as meaningful for us. We feel incredibly humbled and privileged that our guests allowed us to be part of their journeys and their process.

We will have more to share over the coming weeks, but for now we would simply like to say a heartfelt thank you to our guests, who so generously and courageously showed us that what we set out to create is both possible and deeply worthwhile.
