Halloween Night! 🎃👻

@kdnkradio and @townline_trucks bring you a late-night fundraiser on Saturday Oct 31, starting at 8pm with a DJ set from Kid Knowledge and live music from @heady.hooligan to kick the night off 🔊🎸

At 9:30 the COSTUME CONTEST begins, with cash prizes for the best efforts. We had so many great getups last year and we’re excited to see what everyone comes up with 🧙🧛

KDNK DJs will play from 11:30pm until the crowd is dead ☠️

$10 at the door gets you in, and you’ll register to compete upon entry 👍😎

Don’t be scared! Help support community radio while having a spooky-good time 💃🕺

It’s the LAST DAY of the @kdnkradio Fall Membership Drive and we still have about $20,000 remaining to reach our goal, see LINK IN BIO to donate or hit the Donate button on the new KDNK APP or and kdnk.org and get us to the finish line 🙌🥳

It’s also Dolly Parton Day, 9/25 (9-to-5) and Dolly would have wanted us to hit our goal because she was just such a sweet lady ❤️

Thanks to all our new and renewing members 🥹

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
.
To more love, understanding, connection, equal seats at the table, listening, learning, planet care and joy for all!!!
.
Pffff, 2025, what a year…
Still don’t know, still need to digest and reflect more. Ending the year sick and that happened too often this year. Sick of a lot of things going on in the world. A new, completely different job with lots of challenges and setbacks. With probably a surgery that’s following from one of those
.
What I do know is that there’s always more to be grateful for, with some absolute highlights:

• Skiing with my brother in Aspen (and all the US fam 🙏🏼) in February
• Hans winning a (golf) trip to France and bring with him a 👌🏽 crew (and me 😁)
• Romantic Italy getaway for two 🤩
• Persevering a year at my new job 💪🏽
• MY SISTERS AMAZING WEDDING!!! ✨🥳💗
• Ending the year with the best in Portugal 🥰

You’ve waited patiently all year, and here they are! Your favorite @kdnkradio DJs have picked THEIR favorite songs and albums from 2025, a monumental feat considering how many volunteer DJs we have and how many different genres get played at your favorite community radio station 💿🎵

Once again this list is ever so eclectic, a reflection of the variety of vibes we broadcast to our listeners every single day 📻🔊

Thanks to everyone who tuned their dial to 88.1FM (and one of our many translator frequencies) or listened online at kdnk.org! 2025 was yet another great year for audio exploration and we’re so happy you spent so much of it with us 😎🎉

Have a safe and happy New Year celebration and we’ll see you in 2026!! 🥳🎊

My ‘little’ sister got married!!!! 🤍
One week ago today. She was the most beautiful bride! The vows were incredible good, funny and sparked with love. The speeches intelligent, loving and so heart warming 🥹🥰
.
That was the feeling of the whole wedding! The vibes where high, the higher love (song of the first video) tangible and she and Alex (my new brother in law) gathered a wonderful group of people around them 💗
.
It all started with the bachelorette, where I got to know her friends and cousin. An amazing group of women. To see her in her natural habitat being her unapologetic unique self, was truly delightful. Something I really admire in her 💫
.
I was so moved to get to know Alex via his family and friends. And to see how great they are together. It’s just wonderful when a match like this is manifested (thanks again Becky & James)!!
.
So, one week of the Miller-Pustelnyks!!! Maggie & Alex, thank you for this love day, this sparking party, celebrating you and your love 💕 Can’t wait to withness your love story unfold 🥂
