POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Still having friends from when you were little and no matter how long it’s been it’s like no time has passed… sitting around retelling stories that make you laugh so hard your face hurts… dancing to songs that take you back… telling each other things you don’t tell just anybody… and now watching your kids play together and look forward to seeing each other so excited like it’s a holiday… to have this is special and blessed beyond… I cherish these friendships and know through all the ups and down of life if I still have these peeps, I must be doing something right. Forever Friends baby.

Made this beauty for a dear friend who’s a realtor in LA (🫶🏼 @stroberhomes ). She wanted a personalized gift to commemorate her clients life milestone.

Thread colors are a combo of the family members birth months and the brass letters are year they bought 🏡

Custom pieces available depending on timing. DM to explore.

Made with heart & hyperfocus outside of Boston.

I turned 45 last week, almost accidentally inducted myself into the cowboy digit-missing Hall of Infamy, and went to the racetrack with my dearest friends to celebrate getting a year older.
Not in that order.

This birthday ended up being one of the most enjoyable I've had in years, despite spending the actual day-of-birth morning in Urgent Care. Turns out not only is our crew full of expats, but also Aquariuses, all ready to gallop off into the year of the horse (except me, because I won’t be riding until this goddamn hand heals).

Some of us ended up at Dave & Buster's followed by Benihana, and laughed at how we felt 17 again, running around the mall, high on teenage arcade games and adult gambling. My date, Theo, took me buck hunting, but pretty sure we came home empty handed.

It's been a humbling week where I’ve been forced to slow down, rest, and wonder at the timing of this injury happening during Imbolc - a time when we shouldn’t push things forward, but continue to let things rest a little longer as spring starts to rumble quietly in the distance.

I've had friends cut up my food, drive me places, and even offer to wash my hair (lol). I've definitely had some pity parties, mostly when I had to pull my fused open wounds from the dressings, which honestly is the most pain I think I’ve ever felt, and immediately afterward almost passed out. I'm not good with gore, or pain, or being dependent on others apparently, and accepting help when I’m used to doing everything myself is harder than the actual injury sometimes.

But this week has reminded me that I have the best people around me, and really just how lucky I am. I'm healing, typing slower than my brain can handle, but I'm here, with all fingers, & good health insurance. That’s a hell of a lot to be grateful for.

Thank you for all the birthday messages. I’m sorry I’ve not replied to all of you yet, but I'm catching up.

📸 1, calm before finger-gate storm. 2, racetrack. 3, why I didn't wear matching suit trousers idk. 4, bday crew. 5, the best boy. 6, urgent care birthday mashup. 7, my cut off grandmother's wedding ring. 8, my sweet grumpy spirit mare 'Bu.
