Join us in my studio for festivities.
I’ll be making mulled wine, fermented ginger, Christmas Cake with candied peel and endless recipes from my new book, BISCUITS which is out in time for Christmas. My Mum, Claire will be making her much-loved jars of pickles, marmalade and piccalilli.

Along with signed copies of my cookbooks, we’ll have Italian confectionery, pantry ingredients, Scottish waxed cotton aprons, knives, ceramics, stationary, blankets, candles, skincare and more.

It’s free entry/Open Studio, no tickets required.

Very soft soft soft launch of cloudstreet last week. So lucky to have such generous and talented friends and family making it possible. Big shoutout to my mum Louise for helping with the dishes, Giulia my dynamic duo for remembering all the things we forgot, Velvet our fix it queen and all the friends and family who came and were patient with us as we find our feet. Hoping to be open from September xxx

A re-post of this wedding cake created by the amazing @stromabakes for a young couple who held clear ideas on making their spring wonderful wedding a variant on the usual. The stunning bride wore her mother’s dress & after the ceremony the large congregation followed the happy couple out of the church & through the London streets for 1.4km, following a piper, to arrive at the first of two receptions, held outside in a private mews.

Stroma was the natural choice to rise to the challenge of a “naked cake” - a feat of engineering to build the tower with no icing or buttercream to keep it together & transport it. I have long time been her fan since her days as pastry chef @spring_ldn & she keeps going with imaginative initiatives. 🥂 to the happy couple & to all who made it happen!

NEW REWARD! Pie party EARLY BIRD TICKETS!

Quince Bakeries 3rd Annual Pie Party will happen again this August Bank Holiday Monday. We invite bakers that we love to come into our kitchen and bake any pie they want to. Last year we baked nearly 500 pies and sold out within 2 hours. The ticket gives you access to the menu ahead of time and the ability to pre order any or all of the pies we’ll be baking. The line up is still tbc but it will be just as deliciously fruity and flakey as always.

Our 'drop in' socials are for anyone curious about the Mill Coop, bakers, millers or farmers from our community, or looking to join the community. Maybe you are part of a similar organisation and curious to see what we are up to, or perhaps you would like to become a resident miller, baker or cook someday? In any-case, everyone is welcome and we are looking forward to seeing you. We will have drinks and snacks (bring a bake if you want) and many of our residents and volenteers will be on had to welcome newcomers to the space.
