There’s a reason Glowing/Growing is the title track of this album. The phrase “glowing/growing” has become a mantra of mine and my family’s. I say it when I need to remind myself that yea, I’m not perfect, but I can appreciate where I am right now.

I wrote this song after a super painful friend breakup. After an abrupt ending to a decade+ long friendship, I became extremely critical of myself and the way I move through the world. I felt unlovable af. (Who’s been there? Friend breakups SUCK.)

I have been working hard over the years to accept responsibility when I have made mistakes, but to also give grace to myself throughout every bump in the road.

I wrote this song to process the ways I can grow and be a better friend and person in this world. But I also wanted to acknowledge all of the beautiful parts of myself and the things I would never change about who I am.

I felt so vulnerable the first time I performed this song. But that night, people kept telling me it was their favorite song in the set. I knew there was something special to it. And I hope you all can lean on this song or this phrase whenever you feel like you have room to grow but deserve to glow 🌱 ✨

Glowing/Growing is out on all streaming platforms! This album is a love letter to… myself! And to love.

When I write music, I write it in the hopes others will sing along. So I like to create powerful messages that can lift people’s spirits, including myself.

Before I wrote the majority of the songs on this album, I had not performed in almost five years. I was rediscovering my confidence and voice in real time as these songs poured out of me.

My hope is that this album helps listeners reclaim confidence, to believe in love, and to be their own biggest fan.

Glowing/Growing is out now! Thank you to all who helped make this album a reality (and to everyone who’s listened to it so far!).
