Dear friends,
We’re looking forward to an evening filled with atmospheric live music and electronics in our home town:

NIGHT DEFINED RECORDINGS LABEL NIGHT
21st AUGUST | 19:00
SALON ROSA BEIGE | @galerie5020
free entry

As part of his first European tour, Mongolian artist Ts Bayandalai will be performing his first concert in Austria. His album “Wind of Oirat” was released in May 2026 on Night Defined Recordings.

We’re also delighted to welcome the multidisciplinary artist Rogine to Salzburg for the first time. Her album “breathe down my neck,” released in 2024, left a lasting impression on us.

The live program will be complemented by a DJ set from Salzburg’s very own @vierundvierzig.space resident, markmechanik.

The label’s physical releases—many of which were created in collaboration with the Salzburg-based design studio Studio Fjeld—will also be showcased and available for purchase that evening.

The exhibition is accompanied by a publication featuring an insightful text by Simon Nagy / @simonoton — I’d be happy to send a copy to anyone outside of Salzburg… just drop me a line 🫰🏻
…
@studio.fjeld is responsible for the show-stopping design 🥵💖

𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬: Debut album 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕 by 𝗧𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗶.
Raised in a nomadic family on the grasslands of Inner Mongolia, Bayandalai creates music shaped by landscape, memory and cultural resonance. Across Wind of Oirat, traditional Mongolian elements intertwine with post-rock, experimental composition and subtle electronic textures, producing a sound that feels both deeply rooted and strikingly contemporary.

_scapes and _bodies
Lisa Wieder und Mateusz Dworczyk

14.04. – 19.06.2026

Eröffnung: Freitag, 24.04.26, 18:00

Emancipatory politics must always destroy the appearance of a ›natural order‹, must reveal what is presented as necessary and inevitable to be a mere contingency, just as it must make what was previously deemed to be impossible seem attainable (Mark Fisher)

We are very proud to present our most ambitious project to date.
𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄: Single release of the opening track 𝑩𝒊𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒅 of the upcoming album 𝑾𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑶𝒊𝒓𝒂𝒕 by Mongolian musician and sound artist 𝗧𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗶.

Raised in a nomadic family on the vast grasslands of Inner Mongolia, Bayandalai’s music carries the resonances of the steppe: wind across open landscapes, the voice of the horse fiddle, and the mythologies woven through the relationship between humans, animals and land. On Wind of Oirat, these elements intertwine with post-rock structures and experimental textures, creating a sound that feels both ancient and quietly modern.

𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗻𝘆𝗹 𝗟𝗣 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽 (𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗼)
