Last of the summer 🍷 Tokyo-Dublin-Liverpool-Dublin-Belfast-Dublin-Manchester-Paris-Dublin 🤣 The best parts of my travels stay offline but Im so grateful to you all for being my tour guides, biggest enablers and just always being in my back pocket when I need yas/when I’m 8 pints deep and can’t be arsed walking back to my hotel yet 🤣 I don’t know what I’ve started here but I get near daily holiday snaps in my DMs from those of you who have decided to go away by yourselves and I’m always proud and also jealous 🛫

TW Miscarriage I got chatting to dear Lillia @studio.ginkgo_ after my miscarriage, I wanted something to honour my little sea sparkle. After spending a lot of time at the beach while I was pregnant, Lillia’s designs were so relevant to what I felt I needed. For me, I had a strange desperation to hold onto some sort of physical memento linking to what happened. It’s such an odd thing to have to carry on your normal life while you lose another. Strangely lonely, and somehow powerful, and all too easy to feel like it didn’t even happen at all. What I’m finding now is that I can’t just set it behind me, certain dates and times will follow me as reminders of what could have been. And it stings. In a way I’m grateful to know what so many of us women have experienced now, and quite how much it affects you forever. Sending love your way. I’m ok though, grateful for all I have, and processing this in words is helpful to me, and I hope helpful to anyone else out there feeling the same way. Glad to have a little loinnir with me to hang on to now✨ xxx -Not an ad by the way, I bought the ring :)

I thought I’d reintroduce myself 🪲 Hello, I’m Isabelle a tattooist from the south coast of England. I’m 25 years old. I mostly work in black and grey in an illustrative style but enjoy doing anything vintage or botanical be it colour or blackwork. Having said that, I do also enjoy realism a lot. I’ve been doing art ever since I was a kid- sewing drawing or painting. I studied art at college and Uni where I really developed my love for illustration, vintage forms and fine detail. My favourite artist is William Morris! I also love surrealist art and collage. But mostly, I just love intention, detail and things that only time and passion can create. I don’t think I can think of a better job, I always wanted a job where I can talk to people and not be stuck in an office all day. I enjoy being outside, walking along a coastal path looking down at choppy waves like I’m from a Jane Austen book is probably my ideal day. Rain is my favourite weather oooo bring me a grey drizzly day any day. I’m most happy with my partner and my cheeky whippet called Mouse who features a lot on my stories. I love to sew anything from clothes to furnishings or completing a diy project that I decided to start at 11 o’clock at night.
