We love our theme for the 25-26 school year! The imagery it gives, is just so good! If you look closely you can see our Preschool down below. This is always our goal as educators, to give our students everything they need so that they can soar! Then only “the sky will be their limit” When I think back to 20 years ago, a year after I started Chrysalis Preschool. It was tricky starting a new business with a newborn and a toddler, but I just knew it was going to be so good, I just needed to keep going! Thank you again to Adrienne @studio80design who always lends her artistic talents to us each new school year! Which one is your favorite?

As we officially end the 24-25 school year, it’s been amazing to reflect on these past 20 wonderful years. What I’ve learned is that everything important always comes down to people, people and relationships and friendships are ALL that matter. I’m so grateful for that! When I started, my youngest daughters were babies, holding them in my arms (as I’ve done with all their younger siblings) for years as I taught their friends, is one of my most precious gifts. These past 20 years have been so incredible. There have been of course, some major obstacles, but if it hadn’t been for those, I NEVER would’ve gotten to where we are. Now after 20 years I get to see some of my daughters dreams coming true! After my daughter Suzy taught here for many years she graduated and went on to earn her Master’s degree at the age of 22. She’s been Special Ed director at a local K-12 school and now she’s fulfilling her dream of being the Autism Center Manager and professor at UVU. Earlier this month, she represented her department at UVU in the Faroe Islands. A week ago, the baby I held in my arms 20 years ago graduated from USD in San Diego, Cum Laude. A lot can happen in 20 years! Thank you to all my friends and family who’ve been with us, and helped us along the way! So very grateful to you 🩷 “When in doubt, reach for the stars!” Miss Wendy

The 2024-25 school year was especially important for us, DEFINITELY our best ever and our favorite! I’m sure that gratitude played a BIG part in that as we celebrated our 20th year of teaching the children of Provo and I fulfilled my lifelong dream of teaching and owning a business. Fall 2024: Celebrating our 20th, rebranding our butterfly, school pictures, Halloween (my favorite) and Thanksgiving Winter ‘24-‘25: Canoa School in Mexico service project, annual Christmas Program, a birthday, dinosaurs, pirate parties, Valentines, and Heritage Days! Spring ‘25: St Patrick’s, Miss Provo’s visit, butterfly release, Miss Manaye’s birthday, Women’s Shelter fundraiser, and Spring Program. Thank you to everyone who was part of this year, and for all you did to make it so special, we love you 🩷

We love our new logo, we’re so excited to have it up on our school now for our 20th year! A huge thank you to @b_ellsworth27 for her care and attention to details in this project. It is so beautiful and more gorgeous than we could have imagined! The week Bells started on the mural it began raining and raining and not stopping! Normally we are all about the rain but this time it was causing problems! But Bells came out In between storms, drying it off and continuing to work on it. Thank you, we love it so much. Thank you to Adrienne @studio80design for the new logo design 🩷

20 years ago, “I started Chrysalis Preschool with a newborn in my arms and my 3 year old learning at my feet” now those two are 23 and 20! Can you hear my heart breaking?! Suzy (23) is now a professor at UVU and manager of Wolverines Elevated. She worked so hard to graduate with her Associates degree in high school, her BS in Special Ed, and her Masters degree at USD. Roxy (20) is a senior at USD, studying law in the fall of ‘25. I feel so lucky and blessed to have been able to teach all my children in preschool. A huge thank you to Adrienne @studio80design for the beautiful drawing of the girls and I.

20 years ago I started Chrysalis Preschool and Kindergarten. Up until then I had been teaching preschool at a private school for several years in a neighboring city. I was lucky enough to be my daughter Summer’s first teacher. When Roxy was born in 2004, I chose to leave that school and be home with her and Suzy. Suzy was 3 years old, and she needed preschool. That’s when Chrysalis Preschool was born, out of a need for quality early childhood education in Provo. In that moment a dream came true for me. I worked hard and sacrificed every year to continue to make that dream possible. 20 years later, I feel so incredibly grateful, to be here, teaching the best little people, creating a place for those who also teach, to learn more and be successful teachers. Over these 20 years there have been obstacles and hard times, but they’ve helped me appreciate all my friends and other women who’ve had their hands in our success. Being a “Woman Owned Business” is a huge honor for me, and I couldn’t have done it without all these amazing women. Love you all! @orcuttsummer @suzyahlman @ohanahorito @studio80design @melesemiller @anniejeanphotography @madewithharmony @mindygledhill @lmpmiller @katieholloman_ @jamieebowden @mayorkaufusi @katieann_powell @bakingwithblondie @houselarsbuilt @chelliepete @marlene_wolcott @mckenziebauer @ambercefalo @roxyyahlman A huge thank you to Adrienne @studio80design for our new logo!

Knowing your own potential is an amazing gift, and it’s something children are born with! They have confidence and know how talented and incredible they are. We want children to know the sky’s the limit. This is why we chose this as our theme this school year. We’ll be with them every step of the way, and we can’t wait to see how far they grow! The preschool years are a time of great learning and growth for both children and their parents. We’re excited for this school year together! 🍄 A HUGE thank you to Adrienne @studio80design for always sharing her talents with us, you can see how many years it’s been! We love you!

Over the weekend our sweet students performed their spring songs for their families and they did such an incredible job. Due to the construction up at rock canyon we decided to move it to the preschool, and we loved it! We let our butterflies go too! A HUGE thank you to my Suzy @suzyahlman for flying in from grad school in San Diego this week and helping me prepare Miss Amber’s going away present, the spaces outside for the program, and for taking all these beautiful photos and videos for us! I love you 💜 📸 @suzyahlman #learningisfun #discovery #missamber #utah #misswendy #preschoolteacher #provopreschool #preschool #westhighlandwhite #friends #fun #books #discovery #provo #kids #swedishstyle #love #womanownedbusiness #bekind #abcs #sweden #2022-23 #chrysalisbooks #spring #oceanlife #may #teacherappreciationweek

Are you ready for All Hallows’ Eve? Adrienne from @studio80design here created a hand lettering piece for the holiday in her notebook! She used a black Dual Brush Pen, MONO Graph Mechanical Pencil, and a MONO Drawing Pen to create this.
