A little snippet of the core work from today’s class at @studio_191

This sequence focuses on engaging the transverse abdominis (our deepest abdominal muscle), starting with a simple ball roll-in while keeping the spine stable and the pelvis still.

From there, we gradually build up the challenge by adding a leg lift and progressing into the full variation, all while maintaining control and stability.

Move slowly and with intention, aiming for around 7–10 reps of each exercise. Remember, it’s all about control, not speed!

Small movements, big core burn 🔥

Join me every Sunday at 13:30 for Core Pilates at Studio 191 pijp 🫶

I did it! 🤍 Officially a Mat Pilates Teacher!

See you on the mat… or at the barre 🤍

July dump 🌍

Three continents. Three countries. Four cities. A LOT of Pilates.

July was one of my biggest months yet.

Here are 20 highlights:

1. Tactile Cueing Workshop in Sydney.
2. Advanced Reformer Workshop in Sydney.
3. My last weekly session with Tamara after six years of working together before she moved to England. I’ll miss you, Tamara! 🥹
4. Saying goodbye to Pilates on King 2.0 and moving back into our more intimate space up the road.
5. Perth! Teaching an Advanced Master Class that was SUCH a vibe.
6. Teaching with the incredible Heartbeat High team in Perth. The energy here was next level.
7. Exploring Singapore for the first time. Could this be my new favourite city?
8. Teaching Pilates instructors at Wunderbody in Singapore. Can’t wait to be back in October. 👀
9. Getting the ultimate Singapore tour from Jessica after our workshop. Truly the best tour guide I could have asked for.
10. Hanging with my second favourite Colombian in Berlin. 🇨🇴
11. The best schnitzel I’ve ever had. Berlin, you win.
12. My favourite spot in Berlin, Teufelsberg.
13. Post Mat Pilates workshop at Beyond Berlin with this amazing group of instructors.
14. Lotta Tagesbar, right next door to Beyond. The perfect post-Pilates wind down.
15. Teaching my first Pilates class in Berlin and someone turned up wearing THIS. More of this please. No more beige. Pop divas only. 💅
16. Berlin Pride. 🏳️‍🌈
17. First beer in Berlin. Definitely not the last. 🍺
18. Taking a Reformer class in Amsterdam with my new Pilates friend, Lynne. We originally connected through DMs over our shared love of Pilates and being courageous enough to ignore the noise and put yourself out there. So glad we finally got to meet in person. ❤️
19. Amsterdam with my bestie. Nothing better.
20. Amsterdam kitty. 🐈

July, you were very good to me. 🌍✈️💜
