New new loading. ⚡️ A special thank you to Ria @studio____kind for this beautiful logo and brand kit and to @samanthajohns.co and @grace.debruin and the @ivorey.io team for their beautiful artistry and implementation in helping me bring my personal brand to life. I cannot wait to show you the whole website once it’s complete. Fun fact: The TJ script that Ria created actually resembles the exact way I used to and still handwrite my initial in cursive. This weekend marks a new threshold as the direction I always felt deep within that God wanted for me falls into place. It has looked like absolute peace while moving through periods of transition, growth, and stepping into what he truly has me here to do. One thing I know for sure, I am not here for cookie cutter, bland and basic. I am here for the artists, the creatives, the mavericks and legends. No matter your industry. I am here for the legacy builders and innovateurs. The ones pioneering a mission bigger than them. The ones building companies that are here to grow beyond their current lifetime. Legacy. The ones with audacious visions where “it’s not possible” isn’t even part of the THEIR or MY brand vernacular. There is a deeper refinement taking place place in the brand, more rooting — team is all anchored, as am I. There’s so much goodness coming through here as we slow and steady unveil everything that’s been moving and shaking behind the scenes. Every step of the way, God shows me exactly how this seed he gave me will flourish — HIS time, not mine. Thank you Jesus for giving me the gift of foresight and discernment. For now, our 2025 -2026 intake is open for agency work where you’ll work with our incredibly masterful and brilliant team for all things DFY and agency. And still have my eyes and heart on your brand and mission. If you desire to work privately 1:1 and have me step inside your brand as your Creative Director, send me a DM and let’s curate something for you together. The rest of 2025 is going to be highly impactful at a bigger level. Playing in a whole new realm and way. More to be unveiled over the weekend. Get on the email list to stay tuned for more. Let’s ride. Xx TJ

It’s easy to place blame when a client or contractor messes up… but it’s harder to take ownership when YOU are the one attracting then 😬 It took me a long time to realize how I was playing the victim in my business. I used to say, “She didn’t read the contract!” or “She didn’t deliver on time!” My resentment would show up in my work and in how I communicated—and, of course, that did NOT help. It took me a long time to take ownership and instead say: “I didn’t vet them on the sales call. I didn’t set up the right systems to remind my client and over-communicate. I didn’t market myself to attract high-value clients.” Ah. Now there’s the humbling truth. 😅 It might not be easy to admit, but being honest with yourself creates much less internal conflict than the tension of blame. Here’s the cool thing, though: ✨ It’s these mistakes, moments of self-awareness, and new boundaries that shape your brand. It’s those frustrating “Ah, I never want to work with someone like this again!” days that help you clarify your brand’s values. Your values are the foundation that informs your copy, your design, and your online strategy. 🛠️ It’s a spiral, not a straight line. 🔄 You’ll launch, sell, serve, learn—and then circle back, this time with more clarity on how to do it better. Let the ‘bad client experiences’ make you better, not bitter. 💪✨

Personal storytelling isn’t just a trend; it’s the heart of brand building 🧡 You’ve probably heard it by now, but people don’t want to follow ‘business accounts’ they want to follow PEOPLE. Let’s break that down… 1️⃣ Share your FACE: Because otherwise, you’re just a name. And in’24, ‘just a name’ is enough to suspect your AI. 2️⃣ Share about your life: Weather it’s a ‘day in the life’ video or talking about how your kids interrupted your podcast interview, mentioning what you live OUTSIDE of work is what makes you more relatable and human. 3️⃣ Share your values: It’s your openness about your political stance and faith that makes like minded people love you and stay loyal to you, especially as your brand changes. 4️⃣ Share the journey: There is nothing more exciting than finding a rising star who doesn’t even have 1k followers yet and who is clearly headed to greatness. I am so much more likely to follow/invest in a person long term if I found them in their infancy. If you’re waiting to ‘have it all figured out’ before you share your journey, you’re missing out on building a loyal community. 5️⃣ Share the mess: As humans, we love a bit of ‘rising action’. If your flight got delayed on your way to an important conference, share that. People want to root for you and they need to know what challenges you face in order for your wins to make your audience celebrate and not just see you as bragging. 6️⃣ It is not ALL ABOUT YOU: All of this said, make sure to not get lost in only creating ‘digital diary’ content. ALWAYS weave in the value of what your selling into your posts. This post for example, gives you insight into my morning routine… but the real meat of this post is here in the caption. You get insight into my expertise as a consultant for people building personal brands. Your personal storytelling should never be irrelevant to what you sell, but should tell a story that positions your services or product as even more valuable. #PersonalBranding #Storytelling #BusinessGrowth #brandingconsultant #brandidentityconsultant #brandleadership #Entrepreneurshipjourney #shareyoursotry #brandstroytelling #brandstory #storybrand

👀 Bonus Tip👇🏽 ✏️ Include a ‘Transparency’ Section on your About Page: Share the details on how you source, develop, or make your products or services. Get specific about who is involved in the process, the steps you take to create your offers, why you choose to work this way, and what about it is different from most. Example: “We grow our coffee beans on a Farm in Guatemala. We are committed to growing everything on our farm Organic and non-GMO and we give back to the soil by using regenerative farming techniques. The owner of the farm we work with, Jorge is a sixth-generation farmer!” 👩🏽‍🎓 Want to go in-depth and learn exactly how to write epic copy, not just for your about page, but for your entire website so that you can sell more and focus more on the work you love? 💬 Comment below “I want to write words that sell” and I’ll DM you more info about my website copywriting course. Hope you have an amazing day! — Ria

So yesterday my client shared with me that she had a subtle mindset breakthrough. As we were exploring who she is and what parts of her we want to make sure to capture for her brand so I asked her which she values more… presenting herself as classy and collected or wild and unfiltered? Her response made it clear that she thought that I thought one is better than the other. I don’t think one is better than the other. One will not make her money money than the other. What I was looking for was, what feels fun? What feels easy? What lights you up? What feels exciting? Because THAT is the brand that will be the most sustainable to maintain. And if it’s sustainable, you can be consistent. And when you’re consistent you built trust. And when you have a good product, and the brand feels like YOU AND it builds trust, success is inevitable. We came to the conclusion that she can be both classy and edgy. And my clients breakthrough… Was that she felt relieved knowing that she can be her full self, unfiltered, no trying to fit the box AND still scale her business. That she doesn’t have to comprise who she is to grow, but that instead being herself is the key to growth. #businesscoachingforwomen #businessdesign #femaleownedbusinesses #healingbusiness #thisgirlsmeansbusiness

I don’t know about you, but my work plans for this week went out the window when I started feeling the itchy-scratchies in the back of my throat on Tuesday. Business is a mind F in that it reflects all of your sh*t right back at you. I believe your physical health is no different. That mental and physical are essentially one and the same. When you’re healthy, this philosophy makes you feel exponentially better. “I had a great workout today, so my mindset must be in a really good place as well!” But on the day’s you don’t feel so hot… well this way of thinking can feel like a bit of an inception… “Am I feeling this way because I believe I’m “sick”? If I didn’t identify as “sick” would the symptoms go away? Or am I feeling this way because I questions if it’s all in my head instead of caring to my very real symptoms?” I don’t claim the have the answer for this one. (Would love to know your thoughts on this is the comments) But what I do know is that when my friends, my clients and my family aren’t feeling their best, being kind, gentile and patient seems to help the most. For me, the most logical way to feel my best is by treating myself like someone I love. This week, I had to give myself this reminder. We’re all human. Your business will reflect your humanity from time to time. That’s ok. Just like an actor who messes up their lines, as long as you keep going, the audience will most likely never know the difference. Business is a practice. There will be set backs at times. But the most important part is that you return to the practice when you’re ready. 🙏✨💕 Happy Saturday #goalgettermindset #femalebizowner #businessownermindset #businessmentoring #businesscoachforwomen
