Our tool rolls have been very popular at @great_northern_events there made from @britishmillerain washable waxed cotton and came from a collaboration with our friend @studio_critical who needed a sturdy tool roll for his carving tools. It has a zipper pouch attached, for small things like pencils, small tools and has a G hook closure to keep everything secure.
It’s a perfect gift for the artist, maker or ceramicist in your life.

Priceless insights from @batworkeruk great company, and a healthy dose of classic Manchester rain. The bats clearly checked the forecast and stayed home, but Xander still managed to get his laps in.

A huge thank you to Nick at @studio_critical for providing such a lovely space for the briefing and such a warm welcomne to kick the evening off.

This is what it’s all about: community, nature, and learning something new. We’d love to do more events like this covering different subjects in the future.

We might not have seen any bats last night, but they didn’t seem to see us either! A massive thank you to @batworkeruk for your knowledge and @studio_critical for hosting us for brews and a chat.

We left feeling inspired to discover the bats living in our own local areas, with plenty of fascinating facts, even more questions, and some brilliant conversations along the way.

Lovely to grow our community and we’re already thinking about doing more of these. Let us know if you’d like to join us next time.

It’s been a crazy summer … chaotic, brilliant, exhausting, very funny… and completely worth it 🫶

After a busy few months behind the scenes, it’s been so good to properly kick off our new programme again, welcome some brilliant artists through the doors and make the most of everything else happening across Manchester and beyond ✨

So, in no particular order, here’s what you might have missed this summer…swipe for the context….

And somehow, amongst all of that, we’ve also been planning what comes next.

As we head into the colder months, I’m feeling incredibly excited about what’s happening behind the scenes at Paradise Works… new ideas, new collaborations, a growing team and plenty more to come as we approach our 10th birthday next year! 🥳

Sorry About the Mess opening - kicking things off exactly as the title suggests! 🫟
