Week Eleven artefact: Second-to-last artefact. Feels bittersweet, I have to pause my making and focus on writing. Anyways, had so much fun collecting everyone’s glyphs and am in the stages of creating kupu (words) with them. The Te Reo Māori word of whanaungatanga has tied together my thinking, and I hope it can guide me as a methodology in the thesis. Aroha nui (much love) to Will, Hiroko-senpai, Alisha, Nadine, Urvashi akki, Annaliese akki, Gray, Caroline, Thomas, Amul and Georgia for your mahi. It feels incredibly special to see the new relationships I have made in Tāmaki overlap through letters with those I have from across the motu (country) and around the world.

The Great Kiwi Summer give us all plenty of reasons to go outdoors and we’ve been enjoying all the wonderful spots our local area has to offer. This retro patch design is our small homage to our local treasures. The mighty Hemi Matenga hosts three different bush walks from short to strenuous. Each has breathtaking views of Kāpiti Island, backed with beautiful birdsong. Thankful for the @docgovtnz tracks and how many lovely places we have in @kapiticoastnz as well as everything else provided by @kapiticoastdistrictcouncil. ● → Design by Genre . . . #DesignByGenre #BrandIdentity #GraphicDesign #Kapiti #KapitiCoast
