Manche sammeln historische Espressomaschinen. Carl Eller bringt sie zurück ins Leben. ☕

I met Carl from @studio_oml at the beginning of this year, from the first moment I recognized his love for vintage coffee machines and he shared his wish to make a living from that. We started up project “Scuderia Espresso”. The result of his work is stunning and all the restorations are spot on. We try to stay as close as possible to the original and that is far more difficult than add a lot of new chrome. Thank you Carl ! If you have a project in mind for a machine you have at home, I would contact Carl.

Today was a great day, Carl from @studio_oml came all the way from Berlin to hand over 5 perfect restored machines. Carl did a crazy job in so many ways, all machines make coffee now and are restored with a stunning feeling to get as close as possible to original. I am very happy with the result. Thank you for all the communication to find the right result. The machine third from the left side is a very rare La Marzocco domestic model, only 1 found on 🌍 These 5 machines will highlight the collection, I never thought this result would be possible.

Another stunning job is coming up by @studio_oml
Carl shows incredible skills again on this cute little Astoria machine. Lot of trouble on the way but it’s getting there. This restoration is part from the Scuderia Espresso collaboration, I can’t wait to see it when it’s ready.

Today was a special day, @studio_oml and me started a new collaboration, let’s call it Scuderia Espresso, I handed over the first 4 vintage machines to Carl. 2 x la San Marco, La Marzocco, and a very cute Astoria. It’s up to Carl to decide what will happen, we share the same passion but I am getting old, let’s get in some fresh blood.
The very strange La Marzocco GS is in my car and a big thank you goes to Fabian from @lapotenza it is a “short” model in a strange colour with a different drip tray, something in between a Gs and a GS2.
Fabian thank you for the hospitality and thank you Carl for making it happen. From this post Carl will be taking over this journey.
