This was definitely the best show I’ve ever done. It meant everything to me to see this night come true. Dad was shining his light on us from the heavens. Very grateful and blessed for all of my friends and family who attended. The first time the “Blackman album” was performed live front to back with some classic B-sides as well.

A huge thanks to @facesmag and @josefine.zz for the powerful article calling for more female perspectives in visual culture featuring 9 of our artists.

What started on the page has then been transformed to an exhibition under the title or FEMALE GAZE, PLEASE! curated by @whitelabelproject, which we kicked off with a beautiful joint vernissage last week. The exhibition is on view at our Berlin concept store from July 17–August 18. All artworks are for sale and available online as well (link in bio).

The article and the show extend the conversation, challenging the dominance of the male gaze in photography and spotlighting image-makers who insist on new narratives, new intimacies, new ways of seeing.

Meet the artist Dörte Fitschen-Rath - @studiodf6 documenting the signs of the times, people and places. She is a contributing photographer to “Items. Is Fashion modern?” at MoMA, The Museum of Modern Art in New York as well as titles such as ZEIT or WELT to name a few.

In her documentary photography, she focuses on the elements of reality that create connections between humans. It’s her artistic response to the growingly divided world.
