Our Good Luck tee is back, and it drops today!

It wouldn’t be Lunar New Year at BAO without an exclusive tee with Carhartt WIP.

For our 9th (!) year, the tee is hand-illustrated by @erchenchang with The Lonely Man on horseback this time, steaming ahead into the Year of the Horse.

The limited-edition t-shirt is available at Rose Bakery, Dover Street Market today and tomorrow.

Cheeky thanks to @healgoblin + @ken.hato for modelling the new tee at the @doverstreetmarketlondon Tachiagari Party last night.

✷ Speaker Reveal ✷ October 15–19, #Inscript is back and welcomes @ccstudio.studio the stage.

CC Studio is a London-based experimental motion practice working across brand identity systems, music videos, and typographic animation. The studio treats motion as the connective tissue of contemporary identity, designing kinetic toolkits that shift gracefully between screens, stages, and campaigns while keeping type at the core.

My work ‘Saved by the Whale’s Tail, Saved by Art’ is a co-commission between Art on the Underground and New Contemporaries. The artwork takes inspiration from a remarkable event in 2020 near Rotterdam, when a derailed train was miraculously caught by a sculpture of a whale’s tail, preventing disaster. A surreal moment as a proof for how art can, literally and figuratively, be lifesaving. In April 2025, we issued a call out to the public for real-life stories from across the UK about times when art has saved, transformed, or reshaped lives. Out of hundreds of submissions, Helen Whitley’s story ‘The Bracelet’ was selected as winner. We feature in Helen’s story as part of my new installation at Stratford. It also has been printed alongside other stories in a special publication available for free at Stratford station. I handed over the bronze sculpture to Helen @helenwhitleymd as an award trophy.
