Nearly a month has passed since our participation in this year’s Studiolo fair in the medieval College Garden and Cloisters at Westminster Abbey.

Here, we presented four selected works by artists Kees van Dongen (1877-1968), L.S. Lowry (1887-1976), Jacques Lipchitz (1891-1973), and Edgar Degas (1834-1917).

Built on site in a single day, Studiolo is a one of a kind art event with some of the world’s top galleries and interior designers together in an iconic location. This year being the cloisters and gardens of Westminster Abbey. Absolutely incredible and one my favourite shoots of the year @studiolo.projects @thesocialartagency @benpentreathstudio @lucyjtomsphotography 🩵🩵🩵

The reality is roughly: 25% painting my upcoming Amazon collection, 30% admin/press/emails relating largely to my October group show ‘Folklore Myths & Legends’, 25% interviewing artists and developing my new Substack series, 15% supporting and visiting exhibitions like @studiolo.projects (in partnership with @benpentreathstudio) and the @royalacademyarts Summer Exhibition, 5% being creative with no agenda - just for fun. I don’t even know where Instagram slots in but I spend a lot of my time on here looking for artists and planning posts etc. It’s a juggle but some weeks are by no means as busy as the one I’ve just had - ebbs and flows, highs and lows 💚

June came and went. First summer month is just not the same once you stop being a kid and starting vacation on 01.06 as we used to. Two major birthdays: daughter's and husband's. A short but glorious trip to Belgrade for @centar.terra retrospective at @silosibeograd with Terra Ephemera intervention by @lightscape.ventures, some art shows, several concerts and lots of work. I need to savor July more! 👉👉👉

Went to @saatchiyates for @isamayaffrench show, v. Disturbing, lots of good artworks.

Bought myself a @rolandglobal keyboard! Total recall of Soviet musical school days; aching fingers, sight reading got real bad, Czerny études still give me PTSD, all absolutely glorious.

Went to @sothebysinstitute summer drinks w/ @this_is_lander in the @societyofapothecaries , what a place!

Saw a beautiful tree one day – what is this fluffy beauty??

Celebrated Jelly Day at @bompasandparr

Went to @tate for Frida preview and wrote a piece for @the_blueprint_media

Went to @hyphastudios Southbank location launch and saw v tired and v happy @willjennings80

Enjoyed @studiolo.projects fair in the Westminster Abbey cloisters – oh, what a format! One day only, ten galleries, exquisite works.

Was mesmerised by Anish Kapoor show at the @southbankcentre – best show I’ve seen in a while. Love Southbank, absolutely love love love them.

Went to Tristan and Isolde in concert, led by Maestro @antoniopappanoconductor at the @barbicancentre . Left before third act but enjoyed the first two!

Loved @youngmastersartprize curation at @thewimbledonmuseum : Her Court celebrates Wimbledon’s role in the suffragettes movement and @cynthia_corbett -led artists responded to the theme with their work. Brilliant!

Finally, had the most glorious No Repeats @metallica weekend with @this_is_lander and @sergemoroz.md

I mean! @metallica

I’ve been wearing this @metallica tshirt for three days in a row now (I wash it, I don’t sweat and it’s huge hehehe)

An unforgettable day in The College Garden of Westminster Abbey, where we were proud to cater the exclusive Studiolo London 2026 exhibition.

Guests enjoyed a seasonal food station followed by elegant dessert canapés while exploring an extraordinary collection of beautiful art in one of London’s most iconic settings.

A privilege to be part of such a unique celebration of art, culture and exceptional hospitality.

Art and architecture at Westminster Abbey!

Unreal evening with @studiolo.projects and @benpentreathstudio

Studiolo is unique as it’s a one day selling exhibition (art fairs usually being multi day).

The name means “a room dedicated to the display and contemplation of fine work” so the locations are always fabulous.

And this year, it was set in the cloisters and gardens of thee @westminsterabbeylondon ! 🤏🏿🤏🏿

Can’t believe posting about my love of art gets me in these types of rooms. I love it here 🥰

Had the most amazing time last week at @studiolo.projects with @benpentreathstudio.

Hosted at @westminsterabbeylondon, the 2nd edition of this exclusive one-day fair filled the gardens and cloisters with a vast array of historic fine art and antiques.

Birthday dinners for dear friends and family at Straker’s new private dining room, Josephine’s (calf’s liver & mash!), the Ledbury, and the wonderful @stclementsrestaurant (Thankyou darling @eagletta ), @74charlottestreet for @goldscholarship get together coffee for @Cabanamagazine launch of A Weekend in Greece.

It was wonderful to see pieces from our P&H furniture collection, put together by the @benpentreathstudio decoration team, making a pleasing sitting arrangement at last Fridays tremendous @studiolo.projects event. Made to order in a choice of six colours of Regency Caning Fabric or a size and choice of your own. Proudly made in the U.K.

A glorious afternoon at Studiolo, a one-day art fair, this year held in the college gardens of Westminster Abbey... probably the most beautiful setting for an art fair I’ve ever been to!

A curated group of world-class galleries each showing just a handful of works, pre-contemporary paintings, antiques and beautiful objects. The good stuff ✨

I didn’t make it to the cloisters which I know would have been incredible as the heat completely got to me… Irish genes and a London heatwave are not a great combination 🤣 But I loved every minute of what I did see 💗
