The West has a storied past, and the Sigler Western Museum is making sure those stories have a place in the future. Community members recently gathered to sign the final structural beam of the museum’s $30M expansion, becoming part of a transformation that will create more room to preserve, share, and experience the art, history, and culture of the West! The lasting cultural and economic impact of this project will be felt throughout Wickenburg for years to come. Knowing that, we’re grateful to work alongside the Sigler Western Museum and the design team at @StudioMa to bring this vision to life.

🎶 Music. 👗 Fashion. 💡 Entrepreneurship. 🏙️ Downtown Phoenix. Put them all under one roof and you get Fusion on First. Presenter Will Hall visits @studiomainc creative hub for Arizona State University, where students don't simply come to class—they live, work, make, perform and collaborate in the heart of the city. Even the architecture encourages creative collision. Look out for a dramatic @velux skylight drawing daylight deep into the building and creating a natural gathering point ... and also durable @jjflooringgroup supporting the serious foot traffic that comes with putting this much creative energy in one place. As Will puts it in the episode, Fusion on First isn't just somewhere to work or live. It's a place to create. America ByDESIGN™ - Designed to Inspire - is proudly supported by @western_window_systems and @engagebuildingproducts 📺 Get an early look with the Producer’s Cut Preview at AIA.org or ASLA.org now, then tune in to the CBS News Broadcast (NY Livestream) Saturday August 15 at 9pm EDT. 🌐 From Saturday, stream anytime on @bydesigntv YouTube, bydesign.global and SHGLiving.com. #AmericaByDESIGN #StudioMa #ASU #PhoenixArchitecture #HigherEducationDesign #Architecture

We love a good museum. Not only for what’s on display, but for how it tells a story. The best museums don’t need arrows or signs telling you where to go. They create curiosity. A glimpse into the next gallery. A stair leading toward daylight. A quiet courtyard that invites you to pause before continuing. Before you know it, you’ve followed a carefully crafted narrative simply because you wanted to see what came next. That’s great placemaking. The Heard Museum is a masterclass in this. Originally designed by H.H. Green in 1929 and thoughtfully expanded over the decades by Bennie Gonzales, John Douglas Architects, DLR Group, Studio Ma, and PHX Architecture, the museum has evolved without losing its identity. Each addition respects the story while adding another chapter. As architects, we often talk about circulation. But the best circulation isn’t about moving people. It’s about telling a story through space. The Heard Museum reminds us that architecture is at its best when it quietly guides us, rewards our curiosity, and leaves us wanting to discover what’s around the next corner. #Architecture #Placemaking #MuseumDesign #ExperienceDesign #HeardMuseum

🚧 **Construction Update June 4, 2026: A New Frontier Takes Shape!** 🚧 Progress continues on the Sigler Western Museum’s new **Art Museum and Art Pavilion** in downtown Wickenburg. These recent photos show the transformation of the site from major excavation work in mid-May to the first visible structural elements taking shape in early June. Crews have completed much of the site grading and underground utility work, and the first **concrete wall footers** for the Art Pavilion have now been poured, providing a glimpse of where the future building will rise. The project is being managed by **Oakland Construction Company** with architectural design by **Studio Ma**. Both local Arizona companies. Every week brings visible progress as the vision for Wickenburg’s newest cultural landmark moves closer to reality. Thank you to our members, donors, and community supporters who are helping make this historic project possible. #ANewFrontier #SiglerWesternMuseum #WickenburgAZ #MuseumConstruction #WesternArt CowgirlUp BuildingTheFuture StudioMA OaklandConstructionCompany

Sigler Western Museum breaks ground on a new facility. We’re proud to have helped shape the brand behind their next chapter. Formerly the Desert Caballeros Western Museum, the museum’s new name honors the major donor family behind the expansion. It’s exciting to see the momentum and media attention building. ps:studios recently led a brand refresh for the museum. New logo and color system, with the brand guide, signage templates, and way-finding up next. We focused on an identity system that keeps the legacy intact and modernizes how the museum shows up. We also redesigned and built the museum’s website as a fully custom WordPress site. It’s built for speed, security, and straightforward upkeep. The museum team can update content easily and the foundation can scale as the institution grows. Our process is simple. We start with a Goals and Objectives Session, our GO session. It’s an open discussion that helps us understand the organization, the project, how the team thinks, and what inspires them. The conversation becomes our compass for defining and achieving the marketing objectives. For Sigler, two guiding words shaped every decision. Authentic and world-class. That early work also surfaced an important priority. Elevating women artists with intention. We followed with a competitive audit to avoid category clichés, then brought multiple design directions and refined them through board-level feedback with clear options and fast turnaround. If your organization needs a brand refresh that respects history but isn’t trapped by it, let’s talk! More info at the link in our bio. creative solutions ∙ exceptional service ∙ empowering ambition
