Designed at @studioparallel for @studio_koter – a kidswear brand that make clothes designed to adapt as children grow founded by ex Cos designer Anna Smit and Bliss Staple-Knaggs. We developed a flexible visual identity inspired by this idea of modularity. The logo can be reconfigured and played with across the brand, while simple forms, tactile details and confident colour combinations reflect Koter’s contemporary approach to design. For @studio_koter , we created a graphic identity built around the idea of modularity. As their garments are designed to adapt as children grow, we created a system that feels equally flexible and adaptable. The logo is a focal point throughout the brand which can be reconfigured in playful ways. The wider identity takes cues from Koter’s approach to design; practical, well-made pieces with a contemporary feel, using simple forms, tactile details and confident colour combinations. The result is a clear and flexible system that reflects the brand’s focus on longevity, functionality and thoughtful design, without losing a sense of character.
