Working with near perfection on the daily, it can be easy to forget the beauty of a snapshot.

With the on-going haze in Singapore resulting in shoot postponements, some time freed up to process two rolls of film I've had sitting in the fridge since March this year.

Unfortunately, through processing these rolls shot on my Mamiya 7, it seems the camera's developed some light leaking issues or perhaps some kind of hazing on the lens which is a little disappointing.

Behind closed doors… a little design magic.🪄 We’re making the case for wallpapered closet doors, because why should the walls have all the fun?

A space designed to ground its visitors benefits from earthy tones. For @offdutypilates’ @newbahru location, the ochre clay-toned ‘Beach Grass’ by @bauwerkcolour was employed to create a warm and inviting entrance, complementing organic fixtures and the soft glow of warm lights.

Part of the @abigailahern collection – inspired by colours of the wild grasses found in hedgerows and fields across the English landscape – Beach Grass’ earthy presentation and slightly red undertone immediately soothes entrants, owed largely to its all-natural minerals and pigments. Unlike plastic paints, limewash is free of solvents and volatile organic compounds, allowing both you and your walls to breathe freely – perfect for a space in which breathing is key.

BASA provides professional supply and install services for homeowners, designers, and builders seeking to enliven spaces with limewash paint. Visit the link in bio to book a colour consultation, and we’ll guide you through bringing your project to life.

The kitchen was planned around more than just cooking.

In a home where family gathers often, the kitchen becomes a place for much more than preparing meals. Coffee, quick breakfasts, snacks and conversations all become part of its everyday use.

Rather than making everything happen in one place, we gave these smaller routines their own pockets within the kitchen.

Everyone can be doing something different, but still be together.

SUMMER PALETTE Love an inspirational image but not sure how to translate the colours into your own home? Let me help you create a palette that works beautifully in your space.

Inspired by nature, my Summer 2026 palette brings together Mud, Caramel, Palm and Honeydew. Four earthy tones drawn from tropical coconuts, natural fibres and sun-warmed textures. A balance of warmth, freshness and contrast.

A softer approach to the modern workplace •
At Project South Beach, @lahaus_studio in collaboration with Templewell brings warmth, sculptural forms and a sense of hospitality into the workplace.

Within the boardroom, the Cila Sled Chair by @lievorealtherr for Arper introduces a considered balance of comfort and form. Inspired by layers of fabric embracing the body, its curved shell and warm terracotta finish complement the neutral palette, rounded architectural details and materiality of the space.

A considered example of how furniture selection can shape the character of a workplace, creating meeting environments that feel both professional and welcoming.

Subtle elegance, everyday comfort 🖤

Spotting a few favorite corners featuring the Poltrona Frau Jay Lounge and iconic Knoll Wassily Lounge chairs and Cesca counter stools, straight from Proof Living into this beautifully designed space.

Crafting timeless sanctuaries, one iconic piece at a time.

In this year’s copy of @betapluspublishing’s Timeless Living coffee table book, our very first project with @soil.studios in Hainan is featured, marking the first of a series of on-going collaborations.

—

We’ve got a number of projects published, beautifully printed in a series of books, brochures, and magazines over the last couple of years.

With how quickly and informally media is shared these days, it’s frankly difficult to trace where much of our work gets printed, but we’ve been lucky with many of our amazing clients and collaborators who have generously shared copies of these books with us.

Of-course nothing beats thumbing through these pages in person, but we’re taking some time now to carefully document our favourites so we can share them with you here.

How do you create softness and comfort in a bedroom while maintaining consistency with the hardness of industrial design choices?

For this bedroom at Kingsmead Road designed by @ommo.design, the warm grey undertone of ‘Basalt’ by @bauwerkcolour connects to exposed concrete aesthetics found throughout the home, while providing an appropriate softness that complements textured upholstery, wooden floors, and leather furnishings.

A lovely feature by @tatlerhomes on a home that was very much designed around the way its owners live — comfortable, understated, and made for gathering.

Thank you @tatlerhomes and @luojingmei.writes for telling the story, @studioperiphery @kungphotograph for the beautiful images and videos, and @plankwshp for the care and craftsmanship behind the project.
