A rather beautiful lesson in what to do with leftover fabric.

These monumental silk hangings were created by Studio TIP for Domaine Trouillas, an old silk factory in the South of France now being used to make natural wine.

The panels are pieced together from 45 metres of offcuts and end-of-roll silk sourced from fashion and textile houses including Vivienne Westwood, Romo Group and Fosbery Studio, referencing the building’s former life while making use of material that already existed.

Such a clever way of letting the history of a place inform what comes next.

Well we think it’s fair to say the start of our first harvest at Domaine Trouillas has lived up to expectations. We harvested our first grapes on the 1st of August and haven’t really stopped and taken time to reflect since. Preparing the cellar, communal barn space and the vines for our first harvest has been a wild journey but it has been magical sharing the space with our friends, family and wider community over these three weeks.

Thank you to all the people that have come here, harvesting from sunrise and all those that have been involved in the project in these few weeks. All the energy and enthusiasm you have brought is what makes this all possible. We are so grateful to you all and to be a part of this beautiful place.

We are happy to say that fermentations are underway in the cellar and we are expecting one more week of harvest, mainly in the Cinsault. We will share more updates soon.

✨ @twistedhq you exceeded every expectation I had. Saying it was one of the best weeks of my life really isn’t an exaggeration. After years of hard work this year felt like it all clicked into place. Everyone who’s been on the journey with us felt the shift too.

All the artists, installations, workshops, volunteers, sound, lighting, friends putting up with me banging on about it 24/7. Huge huge thank you for believing in us and supporting us.

@alfiedanger & @del_montay It’s been a long old ride to get where we are, and running a festival together is anything but conducive to an easy friendship. Thank you for putting up with me, not giving up, and most of the time making this crazy venture an absolute joy.

@charlottekidger & @hen.does.set, my right and left hand. Would be lost without you on the build. Thank you for all you do for us.

@alicemaemayall thank you for feeding us and bringing a smile to our faces when we’re running on empty.

TWISTED’S ART PROGRAMME

We’re super excited to finally release this year’s art programme featuring some of the most exciting artists in the biz. Lots of these artists and pieces work with regenerative materials, waste materials or nature, aligning with Twisted’s values. These beautiful pieces will be scattered around the festival for you to discover, interact with and read about during the weekend.

Within my practice the visual language of quilt making expands outwards into audio-visual installations + performance; generating spaces for the boundaries, or thresholds, of consciousness to be agitated as emulation/invocation of the collective bliss found under rave.

Generated in a deeply embodied, meditative process, quilts are extremely tactile yet ethereal objects inherently tied to altered senses of consciousness; being that which cloaks a dreamer, alchemically patchworked together from previously disparate materials. I utilise colour and strobe lighting as a hypnotic strategy, arranging gradients that shift the visual field into a psychedelic haze.

This immersive installation is a result of our shared love of textiles and an exploration into the overlapping intersections of our individual practices. All of our works sit between innovation and tradition, blurring these lines and weaving them together to create these tactile textured pieces encouraging engagement from the viewer. Today marks the bittersweet closing of The Loop, a creative space that has played a monumental role in FibreLab’s growth over the past few years. 🙌

However, the Loop has been far more than just a workspace for our team here at FibreLab. In addition to providing a place to ideate, experiment, and bring new ideas to life, The Loop has allowed us to connect, collaborate, and share our innovative practices with the local community. ♻️💡 It’s been a pleasure to share this space and work alongside so many other forward-thinking, sustainability-driven creators and businesses. 🤝

Over the years, The Loop has brought together an incredible mix of people from around the world, united by a shared mission to advance circularity and drive sustainability forward. At our last event hosted at the Loop, we even had the wonderful opportunity to hear from London’s Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy @metecoban92.

For their dedication to helping advance sustainable practice, we want to thank @Wickcdt for providing FibreLab and many other start-ups with affordability, connectivity and inspiration, helping us to grow our businesses and showcase our work to the local community 🙏

A beautiful exhibition by @cella.collective and @ucl at The Loop marked the last event before closing…

Yes - The Loop is closing. ‘Looply at The Loop’ was too good to be true.

We have been based here since February 2025 which has allowed us to grow our collections, team, production and workshops… so pretty much everything.

We’re so grateful to @wickcdt @arbeitstudios and @relondon_uk for making this project happen along with many others.

We have not moved very far at all - you’ll now find us in Queens Yard in Hackney Wick 📍
