I’ve been away for the last few weeks, I got back and tried to catch up on the news and this is what greeted me.
Devastating is an understatement. I’ve always loved visiting these spaces, the peace that can be found in nature is wonderful. And I can’t believe that this is what happens to it.
Thank you to @suffolkfrs for the hard work they’ve been putting in, despite the odds, to bring the fire under control.
Please look to @rspbminsmere and @ntdunwichheath to see how they can be supported at this time.

I’m trying to get in touch with one of these esteemed gentlemen to help judge our Shakespeare play pitching contest in Suffolk Writers Group on Facebook tomorrow.

Has anyone got an email address?
A fax number?
Or a carrier pigeon? 🐦

All and any help greatly appreciated. ♥️

The Pink 'star' written by one small wild writer who came to the @wild_words_suffolk post box on Saturday with Dad and smaller brother! Wanting to do so wild writing ✍️ the pink star are memories of a recent holiday!

Maybe around 6 yrs old(?) these wild words are amazing. Impressive joined-up writing, a brilliant idea for wild writing, and superbly executed. Thank you ⭐️

Thank you to ALL wild writers who contributed, and posted or read their words in Stowmarket on Saturday.

Constable 250 Adult Poetry Workshop: Capturing the Essence at Christchurch Mansion ✨️✒️

On Saturday 11th April from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM join local poet Sue Wallace-Shaddad for a poetry workshop on the theme of portraits inspired by current exhibition ‘Constable: A Cast of Characters’.

Taking Constable’s portraits as a starting point, the group will discuss poems which respond to portraits. You will be invited to write about a portrait but will also create your own original portraits with words. Prompts for quick writing exercises will be provided, and you will have the opportunity (optional) to share your drafts with others.

This workshop is 3 hours long and includes a short break. Suitable for ages 18+.

Grab your tickets here! 👇🎟✨️
