Too many of us grew up adjusting ourselves to be accepted.
We changed our voice, softened our presence, tried to fit in—
not because we weren’t enough,
but because the world kept rewarding a version of us we were never meant to be.

That kind of conditioning doesn’t go away. It lingers and it shows in how we see ourselves, how we raise our children.
and in how we measure our worth.

But you don’t need to wish you looked different, sounded different, or came from somewhere else to matter.
God gave you worth when He made you.
And no amount of social standard can undo that.

Have you ever caught yourself wishing you looked or sounded different just to feel accepted?

Mi glad bag buss!
I am beyond blessed to have been awarded the Leadership Award at the GraceKennedy Executive Office Staff Awards. What makes this moment even more special is that my team were the ones who nominated me. Listening to the beautiful words they wrote in the citation brought tears to my eyes. It reminded me of the true essence of leadership: it's never just about the work or the goals—it’s about the people we uplift along the way.

"People first, always. Because when we invest in others, we inspire greatness not just in them, but in ourselves."

Thank you to my incredible team for this recognition. This award is as much yours as it is mine.
Special thanks to GraceKennedy for building a culture of excellence through great people!

We had close to 80 awardees in this 2024 Pep Award season with an all-boys top 10 for the very first time. Thank you to all our sponsors who were more than happy to donate to such a worthy cause which ensured that the children received the very best for all their hard work and discipline. Awards included tuition payments, book vouchers, gift certificates to Moon Palace, Sandals, Dunn's River, Green Grotto Caves and Reach Falls. Additional Awards included vouchers to Burger King and KFC, gift baskets from Seprod, and much more.

Thanks to our main Sponsor The Save Our Boys and Girls Foundation and other sponsors including The Grace and Staff Community Development Foundation, The Stewart’s Family and Sandals Resort, Moon Palace Resort, KFC, Burger King, Urban Development Corporation (UDC), Seprod, and the Khemlani Group of companies.

I’ve had an AMAZING week in Jamaica attending the 10th Biennial Global Jamaica Diaspora Conference, representing the UK as the Youth Rep on the @gjdc_uksouth. I also finally got to take my picture with Sir Patrick Allen, after winning the 2021 @theggpe award🏅

Calling this a life-changing experience doesn’t capture the depth of my emotions over the past few days. Returning to my mother country to contribute to its growth and development fills me with indescribable pride and honour 🥹. BIG UP everyone I connected with ❤️

I can now fully step into my mission to help those with Jamaican heritage reconnect with their roots, collaborate, exchange ideas, and invest as we are part of the “LIVING-SPORA” not the Di(e)-aspora 🇯🇲

I can’t wait to share more footage from my trip in the coming weeks and months. Watch this space 👀!

Today myself & several other youth leaders from all across Jamaica met with the Prime Minister of Jamaica to discuss the process of constitutional reform.

Today’s discussion brought clarity & was very insightful as it engaged the future leaders of Jamaica by providing us with a platform to have our voices heard.

I look forward to what’s to come as move towards shaping our identity as Jamaicans. Thank you @utechstudentsunion for such an incredible opportunity.💙💛

This is just the beginning.😘
