Have you ever said “no” to someone - and then spent the next hour feeling terrible about it?
Sometimes the guilt isn't telling you that you've done something wrong.
It may simply be telling you that you've done something different.
If you grew up learning that being good meant keeping everyone happy, avoiding conflict, adjusting, helping, or not disappointing people, then choosing yourself can initially feel selfish.
Even when it isn't.
That's why healing can feel uncomfortable at first.
You're not just changing a behaviour.
You're questioning an old rule:
“Other people's happiness is my responsibility.”
Maybe it never was.
And perhaps learning to disappoint someone occasionally - without abandoning yourself - is part of healing too.

Often time we see our mind and body as they problems that need some plumbing to be done.

But they are still your home! And its pivotol to love and be gentle with them✨

Your body is always listening.
To the words you repeat.
To the stress you hold.
To the love you allow.
To the stories you believe about yourself.

Healing doesn’t begin only with medicine — sometimes it begins with the way you speak to your own soul. 🌸
