These are the good old days

Motherhood is wild, beautiful, exhausting, selfless, and honestly… the reason most of us are functioning adults at all. 😅

Today I’m thinking about all the women who shape us — the moms, grandmas, sisters, best friends, bonus moms, and the women who step in to love children like their own. It truly takes a village, and I’ve been lucky enough to have one.

To my sisters and best friends… thank you for helping me raise my babies, showing up in the chaos, loving my kids fiercely, and reminding me I never have to do motherhood alone.

And to my mom — thank you for giving me life, for giving me my siblings, for being strong even when life wasn’t easy, and for somehow surviving my teenage years without taking me out. That alone deserves an award. 😂

The older I get, the more I realize how much of who I am came from watching you keep going, keep loving, and keep holding everyone together no matter what.

Forever grateful for you, Mom. Happy Mother’s Day 🤍

These photos feel sweet now
but I think they’ll feel even sweeter one day

Just all of us together in one place
cousins, aunts, uncles
the kind of moment that feels normal while you’re in it
but later you realize it was something really special

These might be the good old days

A week in Mexico with the family

There was something really special about waking up, stepping out onto the balcony, and knowing our friends and family were all close by

No meal planning
No normal life logistics
Just slow mornings, beach massages, good food, and a full week of being together

By the end of the trip, we were definitely ready to come home
but I’m really grateful for the time we got

Also, every photo in this slideshow was shot on a 50mm

I kept my camera setup simple the whole trip, and I think having fewer options actually helped me slow down and make better photos

I’m in a big photography phase right now, and this setup feels like a step forward for me

My heart is full today. ❤️

Moriah surprised me with this beautiful birthday reel—a collection of memories from the last few years—and it reminded me once again just how blessed I am.

To my children… thank you.
For the love you show me in countless ways.
For the respect, kindness, generosity, and encouragement you give so freely.
For the laughter, the hugs, the hard moments, and the holy ones.
For growing with me, cheering for me, and believing in me.

God has been so good to me through each of you. You are my greatest gifts, and I’m honored to be your mom. 💗

Here’s to another year of memories, miracles, and moments that matter.

Yesterday was one of those sweet, simple days that becomes a forever memory. We celebrated my granddaughter’s 5th birthday with a garden tea party — sunshine, laughter, tiny cups of tea, and all the joy a mom's heart can hold. 🌸☕🎂

I was able to take a photo with four of my beautiful daughters — a moment captured that I will truly cherish. My two sons and two other daughters couldn’t be there, but they were in my heart.

Being a mom is the greatest gift I’ve ever been given. I'm so grateful for these moments — for the connection, the conversations, the giggles, the beauty of just being together.

If you're in a season where life feels fast — pause. Take the photo. Make the memory. Celebrate the little things. You won't regret it. 💕

🫶 I’m grateful. I’m full. I’m honored to be their mom.

Leaving a Legacy. A primary pivotal need. These amazing ladies are a part of mine. The greatest legacy one can pass on to one's children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one's life, but rather a legacy of character and faith.
It is an honor to watch them grow and embrace those principles in their own lives.

Our legacy goes beyond our family. It begins with every encounter. Do we leave people better than when we found them? Did we love them without judgement or conditions? Did we listen with a caring heart to show others they matter? Did we uphold our standards and values through our character and behavior?

As you refect today on your legacy, what are you leaving behind? Each day is an opportunity to grow and deepen that legacy. Choose wisely. #YouDecide

We all had a most beautiful time celebrating the soon arrival of Baby Seabrook! Moriah was surrounded by family and friends as we all continue to guess whether she is having a girl (my guess) or a boy! Ruskin and Moriah are waiting upon the arrival to find out! Another special addition to our family, and we are all so very excited!

A special thank you to Peggy Clinkscales, Nancy LeRoy, and Autumn Shaules for a most wonderful day!
