We're celebrating Subaru Loves Pets Month with some very special adoption perks! 🎉

Thanks to our amazing partners at @summitsubaru, every week in October, five featured KC Pet Project dogs are getting the VIP treatment! When you adopt one of these lucky pups, they'll head home with a special BARK x Subaru adopter kit filled with stuffed toys, chew toys, a waterproof leash and more to kick off their new life with you! 🦴🐾

Meet this week's five featured pups!

💙 Lou (2 years): A shy little sweetheart who warms up with gentle pets and a little patience. He's ready for someone to help him come out of his shell!

🐾 Lyle (5 years): This playful Shepherd mix loves squeaky toys, belly rubs and cuddling with his favorite people. He even knows how to sit!

💙 Preston (10 months): A friendly, playful pup who LOVES people! Shelter life has been tough on this young guy, and he's ready for a home where he can relax and have some fun. Preston is currently living in a foster home!

🐾 Angel (2 years): This beautiful XL girl has a softer, sensitive side. She's looking for a calm, patient family who will give her time to build trust and feel safe.

💙 Smokey (4 years): Our adorable three-legged social butterfly! She's gentle, affectionate and makes friends everywhere she goes. She's also previously lived with other dogs!

We're so grateful to Subaru for helping us shine a spotlight on these deserving dogs and giving their future families a little something extra to celebrate post adoption! 🥹

Come meet this week's featured pups and help us send them home with their very own box of goodies!

AD | Putting a @summitsubaru Subaru Ascent to the family-of-five test!

Three kids, car seats, a stroller, a day at the pumpkin patch…and of course, we came home with pumpkins AND a famous Johnson Farms giant mum.

I partnered with @summitsubaru to take the Ascent along for one of our favorite kinds of fall days at the pumpkin patch, and I was genuinely curious how it would work for our family of five. Safe to say, we put that cargo space to good use!

I love when a partnership lets me show you something the same way we’d actually use it as a family. Around here, that apparently means filling the trunk with pumpkin patch goodies. 🍂

Thanks @summitsubaru for letting us take it for a spin!

Last night, I had the honor of receiving a very special award from an even more incredible organization, one that I am so proud to support. @hillcrest_kc

I’m truly grateful to be recognized and to have been a small part of such a beautiful and meaningful evening. It was a night filled with wonderful people, an inspiring mission, and so much to celebrate. 🤍

As summer ends I am still thinking about our Michigan road trip and all the memories we made along the way 🚗🌊🍒

Getting to experience it in this Subaru from @summitsubaru made the trip even more special. As a mom, there’s something so comforting about knowing your family is safe, comfortable, and taken care of for all those miles, especially with two little boys and all the things that come with them. 😂

This partnership felt extra special because we already own a Subaru, so getting to experience another one on a family road trip gave me an even bigger appreciation for why we love ours so much.

I can totally see why so many families choose Subaru!!

So grateful for the memories, the miles, and this experience!

If you’re new here, I’m Mika! I’m a mom of two sharing motherhood, family life, home, lifestyle, Kansas City, and my journey as a content creator.

The best part of this trip wasn’t just where we ended up, it was everything in between 🚙☀️☕️🍒🌊

Long drives, snack breaks, coffee runs, tiny towns, lake views, and making memories with my favorite people.

Thank you @summitsubaru for helping make this adventure one we’ll never forget. The Outback made every mile part of the fun!
