We're celebrating Subaru Loves Pets Month with some very special adoption perks! 🎉

Thanks to our amazing partners at @summitsubaru, every week in October, five featured KC Pet Project dogs are getting the VIP treatment! When you adopt one of these lucky pups, they'll head home with a special BARK x Subaru adopter kit filled with stuffed toys, chew toys, a waterproof leash and more to kick off their new life with you! 🦴🐾

Meet this week's five featured pups!

💙 Lou (2 years): A shy little sweetheart who warms up with gentle pets and a little patience. He's ready for someone to help him come out of his shell!

🐾 Lyle (5 years): This playful Shepherd mix loves squeaky toys, belly rubs and cuddling with his favorite people. He even knows how to sit!

💙 Preston (10 months): A friendly, playful pup who LOVES people! Shelter life has been tough on this young guy, and he's ready for a home where he can relax and have some fun. Preston is currently living in a foster home!

🐾 Angel (2 years): This beautiful XL girl has a softer, sensitive side. She's looking for a calm, patient family who will give her time to build trust and feel safe.

💙 Smokey (4 years): Our adorable three-legged social butterfly! She's gentle, affectionate and makes friends everywhere she goes. She's also previously lived with other dogs!

We're so grateful to Subaru for helping us shine a spotlight on these deserving dogs and giving their future families a little something extra to celebrate post adoption! 🥹

Come meet this week's featured pups and help us send them home with their very own box of goodies! by @summitsubaru

AD | Putting a @summitsubaru Subaru Ascent to the family-of-five test!

Three kids, car seats, a stroller, a day at the pumpkin patch…and of course, we came home with pumpkins AND a famous Johnson Farms giant mum.

I partnered with @summitsubaru to take the Ascent along for one of our favorite kinds of fall days at the pumpkin patch, and I was genuinely curious how it would work for our family of five. Safe to say, we put that cargo space to good use!

I love when a partnership lets me show you something the same way we’d actually use it as a family. Around here, that apparently means filling the trunk with pumpkin patch goodies. 🍂

Thanks @summitsubaru for letting us take it for a spin!

Meet Monarch! Monarch is a sweet and friendly 5-year-old girl with great leash manners and an adorable wiggly butt! 🦋💗

She recently did wonderfully with an 11-year-old on a day away from the shelter and loves making friends, especially when treats are involved. Monarch came to us emaciated, and after everything she’s been through, we would love to see this special girl get the fresh start she deserves.
