I have become 40. To mark the occasion, I released some music on Bandcamp. Any money I make from it for the next month will go to Trevor Project. You can also donate directly to Trevor Project. Links to do both will be in my link place. Here's a little thing I wrote about the music:

In May of 2019, during my lunch break, I biked over to Dino’s pizza in Burbank to meet up with Lo and Jordan. The bike ride is a memory that doesn’t feel real. There was a butterfly migration happening that was passing through Burbank that moment, so I was coasting through a sea of butterflies in the air. It was beautiful, and a little scary- just the shear number of butterflies was overwhelming, and I had to dodge them. The butterflies and I all came through this experience of each other safely. Jordan and Lo and I ate pizza. They offered me the opportunity to record a few songs of my own that they would produce, putting together a band and booking a day in a studio. I biked back again through the butterflies to my day job. I started writing new songs while pretending to work, then fluttered home.

If Tom Waits and Edith Piaf had a baby… .? 😂❤️ I love this song so damn much, it puts me in a cinematic mood, and in fact I was in one when I wrote it. Love to my producer family dynamic duo @thehighfields for their genius writing and playing and friendship and especially @highfieldnate for that sick guitar solo!! Thanks to my bf @lemjayig and his son my little bf @lemytv for all they did for these tunes and my sanity. The Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed series original music soundtrack on @appletv is officially out today, right on time with the season finale (it’s juicy)! This album showcases some of my favorite moments of the show. Thank you to @rosenator4000 who was down to sonically push extremes and create a bold, unique, intense score. We strived to create exciting sounds different of other thriller shows. Thank you to @gillygong and @sunkingstudios for your exceptional mixes. @jjwiesler at @weareplatoon for mastering. @jsmuck @weareplatoon for the support. @cochemea for flute sprinkles, @ignabu for drum metal madness, and to the exceptional cast and crew that inspired a creatively fun score to make #maximumpleasureguaranteed #MPG #totheMAX

Today I give you Where Did You Come From! It’s a song I wrote with @thehighfields who also produced! Many of you know this project has been a long time coming and a labor of love. So long I’ve almost lost the plot! But not quite. Im still on the trail, crossing paths with dreams and perceptions of reality, stepping in pockets of sap and then breaking free to dance again. Anywho this song is a reflection on the time in my life when I met my soulmate @steventhedavis. I’m an unreliable witness, but I think I saw you smile at me. 🥰 Special special thanks and shoutouts to @sunkingstudios who mixed! @adamlasus of Studio Red North Hollywood who mastered! @lemytv and @lemjayig for all your patient listening and advice. The Highfield’s for playing every single instrument and being the coolest husband and wife producers and friends ever! New songs to come- stay tuned. Now roll down the windows and turn it up!!!

Putting together Concave was a labor of love and I’m so excited for all of these songs to finally be yours. I couldn’t have done it without all of the wonderful people that helped along the way. Thank you to Carrie, Grayson, Tom, Chris, Josh, and Steve for all your help on the music side of things. Thank you to Alexa Viscius and her team for your artistic vision. Thank you to my friends Ehmed, Taylor, Will, Eva, Athena, Hunter, Micah, Alaina, Jenna, Julia, and Reilly for giving me the confidence to write, release, and perform something so personal and close to my chest. Thank you for being here. I love you, enjoy Concave. 🦇
