How it all connects
Part 1 of the summer moon series ✨where we explore how each of the moon phases and placements leads us into eclipse season and our ceremonial retreat in August✨
•
June 29th- the full moon in Capricorn coincides with Mercury Rx and Jupiter moving into Leo.

A few key themes:
FULL MOON- asks if you’re willing to put in the work required to get the life you desire?

MERCURY RX- invites us to look inward first, over the next few weeks, and to let ideas gain clarity.

JUPITER IN LEO- this is an exalted placement, which means the energy of Jupiter is magnified. Think abundance, opportunities for growth, and wisdom in the sign of the self and Sun. This is all about AUTHENTICITY, a big theme we’ll see all summer.
•
To be continued in part two, the next time I bust out my tiny watercolor set at a campground to write about the moon…

Let’s talk plant based eating! 🌿✨🥥🍉

Our upcoming retreat is going to be plant based to honor the simplicity and intention of ceremony. This creates a high vibration in preparation and support as we move through the experience and through integration.

Focusing on connection to earth, spirit, and nourishing body, mind, and soul. Eating clean whole ingredients, while purging the static of daily life and cleansing with meditation and other healing spiritual practices is all around supportive.

The idea is to be awake and clear.

We’re purifying the body as an act of commitment and intention for communing with the Sacred Medicine.

I love starting my day with a papaya and smoothie bowl or chia pudding…and my coffee of course!

In my personal daily life I don’t eat fully plant based, but do enjoy a mostly whole food diet. I love focusing on mainly staying hydrated and never skimping on protein. We do a lot of bowls. Rice, roasted sweet potatoes, beans, avocado, cucumber, fresh corn, and sometimes a hefty scoop of kimchi to top it off. I love being intentional with what I put into my body at specific spiritual times or in times of deep healing.

What are some of your favorite plant based meals? Have you ever tried eating plant based? How did it feel?

Throughout our retreat on Harstine Island, Andrea will be offering Reiki energy + somatic work for attendees! This is a beautiful way to ground and move through healing barriers as we all journey through ceremony and the healing of nature and connection. 🌿✨

Andrea here! I thought it would be fun to share a little about myself, and something I’ll be offering at our retreat in August!

Foraging is something I’ve loved since I was a small child.

Collecting with respect and then creating something with your hands is a gift from our earth.

The time I lived on Oahu deepened my connection with nature and my love of plants. I enjoy learning the medicinal uses of plants, their names, whether they are native or invasive, when they bloom- everything I can learn! Nothing brings me joy like collecting and foraging to then be able to make a salve, balm, jam, bouquet, or handcraft.

Being taught the art of lei, lei po’o, and Haku lei po’o is so dear to my heart as are the many friends and family that have taught me.

While you forage and wrap, string or braid you think of the one you’re creating for. Often you’re in a group all working alongside each other. Your love and aloha are put into the piece making it all the more meaningful. It fills you with gratitude for those you love and the vibrant, fragrant, magic of the island. The colors and intricacy of the flowers are breathtaking.

I am lucky to have been taught and am thrilled to share with you as we forage for local sword fern leaves and create our own Lei po’o at our upcoming retreat!

There is truly nothing like sitting in a circle of women with rafia tied to your toe while you create together. The laughter and joy is overwhelming! I cannot wait to share it with you.

Join us! 🌿✨

Have you felt the magic in the air? The whisperings are true!
This August, Sistermoon and Sacred Circle invite you into an intimate, immersive retreat for women on the forested lands of Harstine Island.
Together, we’ll gather in community for meditation, breathwork, ceremony, sound, movement, creativity, nature, connection, and deep inner exploration. Following the energy of the Solar Eclipse, we’ll create space to release what no longer aligns and reconnect with the truth of who we are becoming.
Surrounded by forest, ferns, and the quiet wisdom of the natural world, this experience is designed to support reflection, transformation, and embodied self-trust.
Applications are open with limited spaces available. To schedule an information call to see if this offering is right for you, follow the link in our bio to read more and apply.💖

There’s nothing like a (cold) sunny day on the gorgeous sound with @svette_tacoma

Rachel led us in a guided meditation in the sauna and as always we had lovely conversation for the rest of our session. It’s so special how many familiar faces have returned each month for our sauna time, and always a few new sisters join in as well.

Grateful for our Sistermoon & the authentic gathering that is happening! We couldn’t be more thrilled at the community we’re growing.

Tag a friend who’d love to join our next Sistermoon ✨🌙🔮

Today is our mystical magical Rachel’s birthday!

She is full of dreams and has the work ethic to follow through. She is a loyal friend, a talented artist, and is deeply committed to connecting and supporting others. I am so grateful to have her in my life and to be on the co-founder journey of Sistermoon together.

This first shot is from a fun little point and shoot camera I took on our larch hike months ago- she convinced me to drive all the way to Leavenworth to see them at their peak. We took my girls along, and she showed us a delicious soup house! We even saw snow on the ground. As we made the drive home late at night I sat in the backseat finishing my psychology homework & Rachel drove with my 14year old in the passenger seat. I listened to them chat the whole way home, about music, life, books. It was so sweet watching her love on my kids. She is special and sparky! I love you @sunraetattoos

Excited to continue building our friendship & @sistermoonpnw for years to come! ✨✨🥰

Wish her a Happy Birthday!

I love our Sistermoon!!

Our Lunar Lasso Galentines event was incredible. Thank you Anna- @_lilpipsqueak_ for hosting and connecting us to more incredible women.

It was such a beautiful evening letting go of what doesn’t serve us -and accepting new gifts and offerings. The moon, the new year (think iron horse), the bay leaves with intentions set to the flame, the clothing offered, right down to the potluck reminded us of these truths. Grateful for our community and the opportunity to embrace joy and community!
