✩ NO ONE ELSE SAYS VOL. 3 ✩ ☆ ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: SUNSHY ☆ 💿 sunshy is Sascha, Wes, Eric, Gwen, and Jordan, making fuzzy, homespun noise pop together. Their 2024 album I don’t care what comes next, released via Longinus Recordings, is one of my favorite shoegaze-leaning records of the past few years, packed with fuzzy guitars, sweet melodies, and DIY charm. They’ve been a little quiet since, but maybe they’ve just been busy cooking up something new… 👀 ⋆｡°✩ ✧ NOV 07, 2026 ✧ 100 SUTTON · BROOKLYN, NY ✧ MUSIC / FILM / ARTIST TALKS / MARKET Designed by @meitingduox2 🎟 TICKETS VIA LINK IN BIO #NoOneElseSays #sunshy #noisepop #shoegaze

WRAP: Sun 9/27 Birding & Bites @ Horner Park The perfect t-shirt weather day started with a beginner bird walk led by Zelle (They/Them) from our Partner Chicago BIPOC Birders. Post-walk, fest attendees ate snacks Sinister mailing list-picnic style while chatting about bands and birds. Music @ Subterranean Upstairs 🎵 9/27 Artists 🎵 Rocketship (@rocketshipband), Good Flying Birds (@goodflyingbirds), Cinema Hearts (@cinema_hearts), The Laughing Chimes (@laughingchimes), Sunshy (@sunshyily), and Blue Clovers. All band photos by the INCREDIBLY TALENTED @kirstiecat_photo. Blue Clovers were the newest band at this year’s WPW, and they have a lot of new admirers after their set. We were already big fans of Kamila Glowacki, and her band Nectar played WPW 2025, so when she reached out to us about her new twee pop band with Joe, Blue Clovers, we were all in! And, then it got even better when our graphic designer (and Pretzle Records co-owner) Juli Sherry dropped the photo of Blue Clovers into our image folder and said “SURPRISE! I’m now in Blue Clovers!” Though not a twee or indie pop band, Sunshy *are* a part of the connected universe. Now spread across the US (Chicago, MA, NY), their dream pop wowed many new fans, and they sold out of the albums they’d brought. We hope their dangling stuffies from their instruments inspires other folks to do this! Vocalist Wes Park called out “Shoutout to Asians!,” to great applause from the crowd! Fans traveled in from across the country for our fest and some may have crossed paths with Ohioans, The Laughing Chimes, on the highway here. The Chimes’ poppy set had folks tapping their feet and dancing along. Our friend @cinchel (who helped assemble our backline) said this about their set: “This is like the melodies and inflections of a Suede song. wonderful Orange Juice vibes as well.” Emily was enthralled with DC’s Cinema Hearts’ live shows at SXSW and knew she wanted them to show off their talents at WPW. Former pageant queen to Indie Pop Star and DJ, Caroline beckoned the audience to do the twist, and pop kids understood the assignment! CONT'D in comments...

SmallAnimalsRecords 발매작 입고! 鼠鼠鼠 the three mice - <where is my mice?> 鼠鼠鼠 the three mice는 중국 선전의 노이즈 락/슈게이즈 밴드로, 레이블의 대표인 Bolin이 멤버로 참여하고 있기도 합니다. #thethreemice #mrg32k3a #sunshy

Shortly after last year's Windy Pop Weekender, Sunshy @sunshyily opened up for @thepainsofbeingpureatheart at @emptybottle. Their set knocked our socks off AND left us envious of their guitar decorations (🐈‍⬛🪄 scroll), and we added them to our 2026 fest wish list. The dream (pop) became reality and they're playing on Sunday 9/27 - Get yr 🎟️ in our prof! 🫶🏼 sunshy is the punchy, dynamic Chicago noise-pop project of guitarist-vocalist Haoshu Sascha Deng, guitarist-vocalist Wesley Park, drummer Eric Breden, bassist Gwen Giedeman, and synth/multi-instrumentalist Jordan Zamansky. They released their home-recorded, self-produced debut album, I don’t care what comes next, with Longinus Recordings in 2024, and was named “one of the most compelling bands of the ongoing Shoegaze resurgence” by Leor Galil @therealimleor of the Chicago Reader.
