WE WON AN AWARD!! 🏆🥹✨

Last Thursday night, Tattoos for Tails took home our FIRST EVER award at the FCC Business Awards!!

And the best part?! This award was decided by YOU!!

To everyone who nominated us, voted for us, shared our posts and encouraged others to vote, THANK YOU!! We know we asked you (& posted about it) a million times… sorry about that… but we genuinely couldn’t have done this without you. ❤️

Winning our first ever award means so much to us! Having our charity recognised will help us continue growing, hosting more events and supporting even more animal rescues and rehabilitation centres across WA!!

A huge thank you to the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce for having us and putting on such a fantastic night! @freochamber

On a personal note (hi, it’s Sam writing this… surprise surprise), when I first started Tattoos for Tails, I never imagined we’d be nominated for an award, let alone WIN ONE. It’s so surreal seeing how far we’ve come! 🥹🩷

To Jake @jake_axl, who’s been by my side since the beginning, thank you for being my rock, my biggest supporter and the brains behind so many of our ideas. I couldn’t have done this without you!

And to Hayden @haydengan, thank you for coming on board and believing in our mission. Your enthusiasm, creativity and infectious energy have brought so much to our little dream team!

To every tattoo artist who’s donated their time and talent to Tattoos for Tails, THANK YOU!! I can’t possibly tag everyone, but your love and creativity have helped us make an incredible impact on animal rescues across WA. 🐕✨

We’re so grateful for this community. This award belongs to all of you too!

Lastly, congratulations to all the other winners, especially our wonderful friends at Bosuns Barber @bosunsbarbershop! We couldn’t have asked for better company at our table and we’re so happy we got to celebrate together! 🕺🪩🥂

Here’s to more events, more animals helped and an exciting future for Tattoos for Tails!! 🐾❤️

I had the absolute pleasure of tattooing @sunspirittattoo today. This is her as a #carebear 🥹 I couldn’t think of anything better to represent Sam, not only is she an incredibly talented tattooist, owner of @wildhorsestt, what little spare time she has she runs @tattoosfortails. Thank you for being an asset to this world and letting me permanently mark you 🥹💜

Thank you @sunspirittattoo for another stunning piece of art on my body. 4th one to add to my collection and I am sure it won't be the last (I am already planning). You really amazing at turning my minimal idea into such a beautiful design. I am genuinely in love with her! Thank you again!

Sometimes you just need to knock off some density to help make a rework possible!

We tailor your journey to what your artist needs to make your dream tattoo a reality!

Not all tattoos need to be completely removed for magic to still be created!

Thanks @sunspirittattoo for being a dream to work with and always giving our friends the best tattoos possible! ✨

Featured Artist Interview

Hi! I’m Sam, a tattoo artist based in Boorloo (Perth), specialising in geometric, mandala and fine line tattoos. I’ve been tattooing since 2018 and am the co-owner of Wild Horses Tattoo Studio, where creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive space for both artists and clients is something I’m incredibly passionate about.

Outside of tattooing, you’ll usually find me at the gym, out for a run, at the beach or curled up with a good book or listening to a true crime podcast. I’m a Leo sun, Cancer moon and Gemini rising. I love singing my heart out in the car, dancing around the studio, bright colours, collecting little trinkets and stopping to pat every dog I see!
