A whole lot of sausage ragù bubbling away! 🍅🍝

Getting ready for a big weekend at the @melbourneitalianfesta !

This will be our fourth edition at the Festa, and it’s always such a pleasure to be part of an event that celebrates Melbourne’s Italian community, its food traditions and the incredible food culture that makes this city so special.

We’ll be there Saturday and Sunday, serving our little boxes of saucy pasta, just the way we like it!

📍 Royal Exhibition Building – Stand 72D

Come hungry, come say ciao!

And because we only have two hands each 👐🏻(unfortunately), our little shop on Rathdowne Street, just 500 metres away, will be CLOSED SATURDAY AND MONDAY while we get through the madness!

So tomorrow (Friday) is your last chance for pasta at the shop before the Festa takes over. Book your table if you want or don’t book it and come, there is always space for everyone.

See you on the weekend, bellidipadelli! ❤️🍆🍝

COME PARTY WITH US AT LA PINTA...

'The space we now call home has a long history in Reservoir. Before us it was The Marche Club "expresso bar & billiard room". A part of the local neighbourhood for almost 40 years.

On Sunday October 25th we pay homage to the fun & frivolity had by many over the years under this roof. La Pinta will become our version of The Marche Club. A time to party!

We are pumped to have some very special guests joining the fun, providing food, music & wine...

@super.norma & @da.paolopizza will be taking over the kitchen for the day

@lorenzospaghetticonnection will be playing a set of Italian swing & groove. And a lineup of DJs to be announced to keep you dancing all day & night.

The wonderful Doug from @miseenplace_wine will be there pouring his delicious wine'

Oh we do indeed love Italian culture and cuisine here in Melbourne, and we love the passion of some of this city’s most industrious and innovative Italians.

That’s certainly the case with @orlandomarzo, world-renowned mixologist and founder of bottled cocktail producer @drinks_by_loro.

So imagine bringing together Orlando and the team from cult Carlton venue Super Norma to build a sitdown restaurant for this year’s annual @melbourneitalianfesta! Needless to say, going to be a pretty special experience.

On Relish, Orlando gives us a few hints of what to expect from “Bar Italia presented by Loro”, and it sounds like there are few surprises in store.

Entry to the Italian Festa is free, you can book your table at Bar Italia now, and head to the link in my bio to listen to my chat with Orlando in full.
