POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Full. Full. Full. Every year CHTC's women's weekend is so filling. Tiresome but energizing. Challenging but worth it.

This year's clinic weekend was full of conversations about how impactful an event like CHTC's is for different women. One person I talked to is the primary caretaker for both of her parents, and this weekend was a rare reprieve, a chance to take care of herself for once. Another woman had recently had a double mastectomy and wanted a photo atop the Weathertop trail overlook, topless, showing off her scars (she also used the moment to laughingly remind us all to get our mammograms). Another woman was grieving the loss of her son, healing in the company of other supportive women. So many amazing stories, so many incredible people show up for this weekend. It feels like an honor to be part of this community.

Side note, I was able to successfully do the first two slab drops on Citrus Tech!

I will try my darndest to keep carving out moments like this in my time throughout the year. Intentional community. Making it a priority to be part of these kinds of spaces. I loved getting to photograph the event alongside Emily, Ben, Erin and Nick. It's always such a treat talking through camera perspective, white balance, and how to keep things in focus in tricky lighting situations. Action and movement, all captured through shadows and sometimes very blown out light. I just have to sit back, take it in, and feel so grateful.

Already excited for next year.

Setup to storm in under 30 seconds. A quick look at life inside the tent, a passing rain shower, and canvas doing what it’s designed to do.

This is what everyday set up should look like.

Through Haley’s lens, a look back at the progression, perseverance, and plenty of good times from CHTC’s annual Mountain Bike Clinics.

Huge thank you to our coaches, our riders, and @halesgoodreau + @jukendorf for being everywhere at once with a camera last weekend at Big Boy Clinic. 📸

And there’s more fun to be had because, Junior MTB Camp kicks off this Sunday. The next generation is coming for your KOM.

finally thawing out 🙌

Cold mornings are out, camp season is back. If you’re coming in from wet weather, this one’s got you covered. Water-repellent, easy to shake off, and warm enough to keep the night going!

Same dog bed, better everything.

Did you know our dog beds come in five colors with a removable outer shell you can toss in the wash? As well as a softer interior your dog will actually sink into, and a water-resistant finish for real life messes. Plus new sizes to fit dogs of all sizes!

What color are you picking?

Honestly, there are more than 4 reasons why we love the Trailside Camp Blanket, but we had to mention our favorites for winter camping! ⛺️❄️

This blanket is so versatile for all season- from that extra hands free layer in cold winter camping to a picnic blanket in the hot summer months!

Which feature are you liking the best?!

Oh, to be sipping on a creme soda Faygo at @thecabinonpineridge 🌲

The @superiorgoose crew stayed at the Cabin on Pine Ridge this past month and when I say they thought of everything, they really did. It feels like Wes Anderson, but make it Midwest. Thoughtful, a little nostalgic, and just plain fun.

Classic board games stacked and ready. A fridge full of Faygo in every flavor you forgot existed. Coffee roasted just for the cabin. A hot tub tucked into the trees with string lights. And if you crack the windows, you can hear the Betsie River flowing.

It’s the kind of place where you settle in quickly and really don’t want to leave. It’s a close drive to Frankfort on Lake Michigan and right down the road from Iron Fish Distillery and Crystal Mountain. But honestly, I’d understand if you don’t make it that far because you could stay right at the cabin the whole time and that would be enough.

Side note, if you’re into fly fishing, this one feels like a bit of a hidden gem in the Northern Lower.

Sometimes trying something new is simply seeing something familiar from a different perspective.

Thanks to @tryacreditunion for encouraging us to #trysomethingnew this year at CopperDog 150! We used our newest camera, the Fujifilm X-T3, to cover the weekend festivities, and were able to share some awesome new photos with both @copperdogofficial and @tryacreditunion as a major sponsor of the event this year.

Thanks to Cody for leading photography on this project and to Sascha for capturing the video. I’m constantly in awe of our community that comes together around this race every winter. Can’t wait for next year!

Let’s get that Girls Weekend Away out of the group chat and into an awesome cabin Up North. No airport required for Michigan gals, just a good playlist and road trip snacks.

Crystal Mountain’s fabulous spa is just 5 mins from our cabin and be sure to stop in our local fave @ironfishdistillery for great cocktails.

Back at the cabin, our private hot tub is the perfect place to catch up on all tea.

The cabin sleeps up to 10 with 1 K, 2 Qs and 4 Twin beds. Fun vintage Michigan vibe with lots of board games and puzzles.

Turns out when you get 80+ women together in Copper Harbor for a long weekend of shredding, getting coached up at one of the best women’s mountain bike clinics, and pushing each other to send the thing they’ve been staring at, something pretty special happens.

Haley has been showing up to Women’s Weekend for the last few years with her camera because honestly, words don’t do it justice so we let the photos do the talking.

A few spots left. Your turn to be in the photos. 📸 Registration linked in bio!

We’re squarely between winter and Spring at the cabin these days, but the snow has finally changed its attitude. It’s the perfect time to get away and get outside.

Here’s why CopperDog weekend is one of the wildest weekends of the year.

@tryacreditunion sponsored us to head out and capture the @copperdogofficial event. How lucky are we to be one of the Midwestern hubs for Sled Dog Racing. Another big thank you to all the sponsor of the weekend, all the volunteers, the mushers and the dogs! We’ll be back next year.
