Open for more details! 🏂 2nd year at @tomorrowlandwinter ! 📍Alpe D’Huez, French Alps 🇫🇷 Feel free to ask my any questions 😄 ➡️check story highlights on profile for more content! Transportation 🚂 The recommended option is to get picked up by a shuttle from various hubs such as Lyon, Geneva airport or Grenoble train station. Avoid the shuttle bus from Paris at all costs!! Unless you want to ride in a bus for 9 hours 💀 Shuttles can be late by minimum an hour on the way back out… plan accordingly your connections! This was probably the roughest part, as the alps aren’t easy to get to. Accommodation 🏨 For a more enjoyable experience, it’s recommended to book the Bronze tier or higher. Although slightly pricier, these options enhance the overall comfort and convenience during your stay (closer to slopes). We stayed at a silver tier this year and was very worth the extra bit. Food and Drinks 🥘 There’s a diverse range of dining options available. In the Tomorrowland area, venues like the Brasa restaurant offer varied menus. Our personal favs were the Brasa ribs and TML burger. While the ski village features local specialties. However, keep in mind that meal prices tend to be on the higher side outside the festival too. (15 euros a crepe) Experience ⛷️ The full event lasts about seven days, but it’s super physically demanding. For both years I chose the shorter version—four nights and three days— probably one of the most tiring festivals I’ve over done 😅 Music 🎵 The festival’s music scene is predominantly techno-centered, so if that’s something you don’t liked you might have a hard time with the music 😬

I love this time of year — a chance to reflect and make space for new beginnings with fresh energy. My highlight reel focuses on travel, but of course, life has its highs and lows. That said, I’m deeply grateful for the fun, peace, and sense of home this year has brought. I’ve been tracking my happiness on a scale of 1-5 and journaling daily for the past 7 years, and 2024 was my happiest year yet with a 4.65/5 annual average. I also journaled 87 of my favorite memories — from meaningful moments with friends to the magic of exploring 20 countries. It was a year of low stress, ease, great sleep, and so much joy. Shoutout to @onbeat.app for making this process so much easier. I’ve been doing annual recaps since 2018, and this year was by far the quickest. If you’re on the fence about making a late 2024 recap, I’d definitely recommend checking them out — they even offer a 7-day free trial.
