Thanks. People say albums come to define periods of their lives; the process of creating this thing involved descending into an intense, self-referential existence for the last few months - I’ve listened to it, before and after completion, probably more than any other body of music ever, getting a bit lost in myself and going insane. It feels brilliant to finally let it breathe. It’s alive.

The recording of my closing set at Exit on the 21st March is up on soundcloud. It's rough, it's tough, it captures something. As a wise man once said "It's the rawest mix in my archive, but I like it the most raw" This is far from my rawest mix lol, but it's definitely raw, and one of my favourites. I'm very proud of it. Bogged down with technical difficulties for the first quarter, it was a battle, and it makes every nail ten times more satisfying. Hope you find a minute to give it a listen in the sun. hello, it’s been a strange and difficult few months so it’s taken me a little while to feel in the right headspace to post again so here we are 😭 earlier last month i played/visited glasgow for the first time for @supertouchdiy , i was absolutely sick with nerves right up until i was in the booth. i put a lot of pressure on myself to make a good impression and with the personal context going on i really wanted the performance to speak for itself and not be overshadowed. i feel this was achieved, also due to the hospitality of everyone involved i could actually enjoy my time in city afterward, only a shame because it so short. a spark of lost confidence has began to re-emerge in me and i definitely want to continue to nurture that both within myself and towards this craft as i feel both are inherently linked. i want to push and develop my vision further and let it go in whichever direction it takes me. in truth i’m just tired of being held back by a committee that seems to exist solely in my mind and i’m at the stage now where it has all gotten rather boring to live like that. i want to send massive love to @_3rdcrush , @milk1girl and @lrenmc for believing and trusting me on this , never have i felt so familiar and welcome in a new place and everyone involved in the party made it something really special, the craic had after and the kindness is something i’ll never forget 💙🤍 (yes i djed in an antrim jeresy) love & all that, kev
