the last few months have been filled with ceramics, therapeutic arts, teaching, collaborations, and experimentation. it has been such a gift after finishing grad school to come home and create.

next week, i’ll be heading back to new york to begin a full-time position as an art therapist at an in-patient psychiatric hospital, which means eve christa ceramics will be taking a hiatus for the foreseeable future. it feels bittersweet to step away, but i’m also ready for this next chapter and know i’ll return when the time is right.

i have such immense gratitude for my island community, and for everyone who has supported my art, my therapeutic arts practice, and all the experimenting and evolving in between.

big love❤️

There’s something truly special about returning to a place that has given me so much. A place where I’ve found love, peace, connection, and countless blessings along the way.

I’m deeply grateful and excited to be back, to share, to practice, and to continue receiving all that this magical place has to offer.

Some places you visit. Others become a part of you.

bilateral drawing is a simple embodied art practice that uses both hands simultaneously, inviting rhythm and awareness into the creative process.

through repetitive, bilateral movement, the practice supports grounding and nervous system regulation, deepens awareness of breath and physical sensation, and offers a nonverbal way to explore and express emotions.

the focus isn’t on making something “beautiful” or “good.” it’s about slowing down, noticing, and allowing the body to lead the creative process.

this wednesday, 8/12 from 4–6pm, i’ll be hosting a bilateral art + movement workshop at @supta.yoga, where we’ll explore these practices together.

creativity belongs to everyone • no experience needed.
