A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to my birthday fund.raiser this year. 🥹 It truly made my birthday so so magical to see a community come together to support my people in Ghazza. 🫶🏽🎂🌸🇵🇸

34 wonderful people donated to my fund.raiser. 🙌🏾🍉

We raised 1157 (rounded up) surpassing my original 1000 goal. 🥺💕🐰

576 will be distributed among our dear friends grass roots projects that support their community with food, fresh drinking water, school tents so many children can continue their education, art therapy workshops for the children, elderly care, hygiene parcels, new clothing for the children, medical care, etc. These selfless individuals provide for their community on the ground, while going through their own difficult time. 🥹 You can learn more about our friends wonderful work at: @gazanledcsf We are always looking for more support in any capacity: amplifying p0sts, fund.raising, don@ting, etc

2 families received 288 each:
@diana_moneer and her family. Diana and her parents have various medical conditions that need lots of fund.s to cover, not to mention the basics: food, rent, etc. 🐰🫶🏽

@osamamousa196 has such a kind heart. He doesn’t ask for much. His only concern is making sure his family is taken care of. Osama has not seen his family in almost 3 years since he was away participating in a professional basketball competition when the nightmare began and he could not get back into Ghazza. 💔 He truly misses his family so so much. 🥺 Aside from the basics: food, rent, they also need fund.s for medical care and save up to purchase a solar power to receive (another basic essential) electricity. 🫶🏽🐰

If you have the capacity, please support these 2 beautiful families, if you can. 🙌🏾

Thank you so so much to everyone who contributed and made my birthday fund.raiser, this year, a success. 💗It truly means so much. 🥰 And an FYI 😜 I did do something for myself for my birthday. I spoke to loved ones on the phone, I went to the beach, I got an iced mocha coffee and I went to a Korean spa. But this bday fun.draiser is one of the things that made my birthday extra special. 🥰🥳 hugs & love to all.

In August 2026, water supply conditions in the displacement camps of Deir al-Balah remain critically severe.
💧
Daily water access per person remains well below minimum humanitarian thresholds, dropping to critically low liters per day in major displacement settings.families don’t have enough water for all their needs. they are having to save water, and are forced to choose between drinking an extra cup of water or saving some to wash hands to prevent the spread of germs - this what a crisis of access to water looks like in practice.
in G, the crisis remains dire.
💧
grassroots mutual water aid initiative, the Suqya Project, is a critical lifeline for those displaced in the Deir Al Balah camps, providing essential potable water for survival, hydration, cooking, and sanitation and helping prevent waterborne diseases.
💧
this project not only provides essential localised, community-led water delivery to vulnerable, displaced families, but it does so in a way that prioritises the dignity of the communities they reach, please support it.

The world’s attention has not reflected the reality Pal / estinians in Ga / za continue to endure. The suffering does not become less real because it is less visible.

The gen / cide in Ga / za has not ended. Pal / estinians in Ga / za are still living under relentless bombardment, displacement, and manufactured deprivation. Most families remain displaced, living in tents, temporary shelters, or damaged apartments after their homes have been destroyed. Families continue trying to survive amid extreme poverty, inflated prices, and the ongoing struggle to access food, water, healthcare, and other basic necessities, all the while, largely not having access to consistent income, or any income at all, for almost three years.

Our solidarity with Pal / estine requires us to act in defense of life, to follow the leadership of those most impacted, and to place resources in the hands of communities sustaining one another through conditions no one should have to endure.

Thank you, with immense gratitude, to everyone who continues supporting this work when and how they can.

It’s in the community…🙌🏾🍉 Follow us here: @gazanledcsf

the power of mutual aid

it isn’t a few people giving everything.
it’s each of us believing that even the smallest contribution makes a real difference.

helping us sustain the work of these 8 projects does not require your extraordinary generosity or extraordinary sacrifice.

it simply requires ordinary folk like you to believe that if enough of us give even a small amount, together it becomes something extraordinary.

please don’t ever think that that your contribution is too small to matter.

because it does.

water in G is a scarce and precious resource.
seawater contaminates ground water sources. wastewater contaminates water used for drinking, cooking or washing, and with water distribution pipes largely damaged or destroyed, people are completely reliant on rely on water trucks for clean drinking water.
💧
families don’t have enough water for all their needs. they are having to save water, and are forced to choose between drinking an extra cup of water or saving some to wash hands to prevent the spread of germs - this what a crisis of access to water looks like in practice.
in G, the crisis remains dire.
💧
according to unicef June 2026 reports, the average daily supply across g-za is only 7 litres of drinking water and 16 litres of domestic water, and many people do not have access to even the minimum 6 litres a day of clean drinking water.
💧
grassroots mutual water aid initiatives like the Suqya Project are critical for G’s survival. with shattered infrastructure and severe restrictions limiting large-scale aid, local networks are a primary lifeline, providing essential potable water for survival, hydration, cooking, and sanitation, helping prevent waterborne diseases in neglected camps.
💧
the suqya project provides an essential localised, community-led water distributions that prioritise the dignity of the communities they reach, please support it.

at our june market, we raised $1711 for mutual aid for community members surviving genocide in gaza and a chicago neighbor navigating the prolonged uncertainty of the asylum process. we are so very grateful to our friends, neighbors, and community members who generously contributed their time, energy, skills, resources, baked goods, pre-loved items, & handmade goods; who came shopping, donated funds, and chatted with us about who these funds support; who helped us sort donations, set up, sling glizzies, spread the word, bring us ice, work the check-out and baked goods tables, welcome neighbors in to shop, clean up, save the day with canopies, and more. community care is always a community effort. our hearts are full!

swipe through to learn a bit more about the material care y’all provided by showing up.

watch this space for the next MAM date + ways to get involved.

in solidarity,
rach & andrea

I made this video for TikTok when you know who shut down my you know what.

We are looking for more folks to help in any capacity for me and my scrappy team’s initiative collective @gazanledcsf to mobilize fund/s for our people’s 8 grassroots initiatives.

Our comrades initiatives:
@art.and_hope art workshops for the children
@aziz_factory provides clothing for the children
@beacongaza tent schools and lunches for the children
@dr.ali.dawas Medical care as well as community assistance
@thegazafarmersproject grows and provides produce
@peace_charity_associatio_ provides meals, etc.
@shireen_fady provides assistance, food, etc
@suqyaproject provides clean drinking water

These wonderful and selfless initiatives provide for their community. Including those who do not have c@mpaigns of their own to support their family.

How you can help:
1. Donate. We are looking for folks who can set up a regular monthly or weekly contribution. 5 or 10 goes a long way when we have 100 ppl doing this. This gives some relief from constantly hustling to find new folks to don@te. One-off don@tions are of course always welcome.
To don@te: go to line #8 in my l-inktree in b-io. This is our general funds c@mpaign. But you can also add the name of a specific initiative that connects with you more. Otherwise, funds either get distributed evenly or where it’s needed most at the moment.
2. Amplify all of our @gazanledcsf posts so it can go further.
3. Set up your own fundr@iser around your circle of folks.
4. Follow all of the initiatives as well as @gazanledcsf

It doesn’t take much time to take kind action to support. C0mment below or DM me, if you’d like discuss more.
